I'm wondering if it might be someone within SU......if you look at the location of the seller, they're from Kanab, Utah. Isn't that where we used to have one of our manufacturing sites? Also, it says that 100% of the proceeds go to the Best Friends Animal Society.
I remember last year, SU actually auctioned off (not on Ebay, though) some of the extras cabins they had purchased to give people in the company a chance to enjoy the cruise and the money went towards a charity.
Perhaps this is what this Ebay auction is doing.......just to a larger audience.

Hi!
I sent you a pm with the email address, but for those of you who don't know the address...
You can forward any "illegal auction" from ebay to: [email protected]
They will check into it even though they will not contact you again.
HTH~

Couldn't it be real? The profits seem to benefit a well known animal rescue and santuary of Best Friends Animal Society. It says 100% of the profits will got to the organization. A great gift to this group if so and Best Friends is so organized and has such an impact on rescue groups around the country.
Just putting that out there before everyone blasts SU or Ebay on this one.
I met some people on the Mexico cruise last year who had gotten their tickets from a charity. Apparently SU! had more cabins than they needed, since they chartered the whole ship, so they donated the extras to various charities to use as fundraisers.
It does sound real to me except for the fact that it is on Ebay. I cannot imagine SU putting anything up on there because of the principle. Also, I know that it cannot be someone who earned it because you cannot transfer your ticket to someone else. I have earned 3 of these and know first hand. Sounds like it is to a good organization. The price isn't bad either.

Well, it could be that someone from the charity organization put it up there, not SU. Last year, SU *gave* some of the tickets to the charities themselves to auction off.

I had called SU and the tickets are for real! So LUCKY person got a deal. I couldn't find that same cruise for cheaper than $900.00 a person to get two tickets plus all the Stampin Up! fun for $1275.00 VERY GOOD day for someone
SU doesn't book the entire cruise. Some of the cabins are available to the general public. That doesn't mean that they will be able to attend the swaps, the workshops, and other specific SU events onboard the boat.
Looks legal to me. I wish I had known about it before the auction ended. I would have bid on it. I can't think of a better way to blow money.
Best Friends is the worlds best animal santuary. They would not do anything that would tarnish their good reputation
Goldie, my avatar, was rescued by Best Friends after Huricane Katrina. I adopted her last March.
Kudos to Stampin Up and Best Friends !
