ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Forgotten4Paws
Description of Organization: Description of Organization: Forgotten 4-Paws is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), volunteer-run organization concerned with the welfare of all animals. Though our main focus is animal welfare, we also rescue abandoned, neglected and stray cats and dogs, with the help of caring foster families (as we have no "shelter" of our own), and adopt them into loving, forever homes. To date, we have helped over 5,000 animals find the happily-ever-after endings they so desperately deserved. www.forgotten4paws.org

TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED: Mainly thank you (used to send to adopters, volunteers, and people who donate), but can also use get-well, or general hello/thinking of you cards. Although while the majority of our rescues are cats, we do get some dogs, so both cat- and dog-related cards are welcome. SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: Please leave space inside for us to write a note, and please provide envelopes.

For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONAL challenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. This months challenge is to use stripes on your card. Be sure to use the keyword C4AC16 so that we can check out your card and comment! I am looking forward to making cards for Forgotten 4-Paws this month! I love to see when a match is made and a "forever family" is found for an animal that has been abused or neglected. They seem to turn out to be the most loving companions! I am happy to be able to help.
Love this cause! Call me crazy, but I do think that animals that are rescued are truly grateful and show their appreciation in so many ways. And the people that rescue them and find loving homes for them? There is definitely a special place in Heaven for them! I'll be donating!

I'm in this month....don't have many doggie or cat stamps but I'll figure out something My DD helps with a rescue group and has fostered several times. I love the cause!!!
Well, the camera didn't do it justice, but here is my submission for the Optional Challege to use stripes in a card. I like it because the paw can be for either a cat or dog!
I had to borrow a stamp set this month, as the only pet I have stamps for is birds. We just got a puppy, so I better change that! Always glad to help our furry friends. Ten cards going to the post office tomorrow.
So sorry this is soooo very late! Forgot to post that ten cards were sent the last day of June. And I've rec'd a very nice thank you from the organization. Nice to be appreciated!
