I, too, have not posted much. But I get into my craft moods and will make several cards, then I'll lay low for a week or so. As long as I have this challenge, Christmas will be on my mind, and it will get done hopefully before December.
I find doing some of the SCS challenges and other blog challenges helps keep me motivated - I just use the challenge for a Christmas card as most are adaptable. Maybe that would help some of you?

I haven't started yet! Eldest is moving out again and the dining room/crafty space is sorting and packing central. Hubby didn't even get a Valentine's card as I was carting injured youngest to her doctor's appointments yesterday. Our anniversary is soon so maybe I'll get that one done.
Went on a crafting weekend two weeks ago, and after getting 32 scrapbook pages completed, I spent a day and made nine cards for this challenge! Six are now uploaded to my gallery, and I'm planning to get the other three uploaded before I head out to work. Will try to get them linked to the proper threads this weekend. This is great! I feel like I am accomplishing things!!
I agree with agree with Sally (CraftyMerla) and Susan (Susanbri)...belonging to the challenge at least keeps in my mind I need to do some Christmas cards; whereas, without belonging memories of Christmas cards would move to the back recesses of my mind! Also, I'd put away my Christmas stuff where it was difficult to get to...so it is a motivation and reminder as well! That's all good, even if not actually getting them done isn't so good...lol!

I agree, Carlene. This challenge does keep the idea for Christmas cards in mind all year long. We have to remember not to beat ourselves up about not getting started (it IS only February!!). Anything we get done is getting us to our goal! So congratulations to EVERYONE for being here!!

Thank you, Patti, for the reminder not to "beat ourselves up"!! I am so good at scolding myself when I feel like I'm falling behind...and then it's hard to find my creativity when I'm feeling bad. :( (I need to remember that, if all else fails, I DO have December to 'catch up'!!)

That tickles me, and I have a smile on my face, Liz! Tho, December is what I'm trying to avoid! LOL
 Me, too!! I'm looking at December as a "last resort"!

HI ladies!I've not posted here since signing up. But I have been working on Christmas cards thanks to being a part of the 52 Card Throwdown Challenge. So far I've linked up with them 2 weeks in a row. My card from last week, I made 8 more of this morning. I keep telling myself I WILL mail cards this year.

Sally, I am the same way. I might spend an entire day in the craft room, then not come back for weeks. It is nice to have this challenge to keep Christmas cards in mind!
This card is doing double duty. It was created from items sent to me by my partner in the Christmas Crazy card making swap. It doesn't fit this month's theme but it will be the only one I manage to make this month so I am posting it. It was really a fun image to color (watercolor crayons and aquapainters) with lots of Wink of Stella for highlights. The DSP is by Pink from the Oh Joy collection. Use Mossy Meadow for the base and accent frame.

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
I've been having fun doing these challenges! My crafting time is limited, so I tend to make a card or three, then none for awhile. Posting cards here and there in the gallery, but finally got them all linked today to our monthly threads. 11 cards on my way to a goal of 36 this year!
I just found this challenge. I have lost my mojo and need something to get me going again! I would love to give this challenge a try. I am going to try and do 4 cards a month.
I'm in Forest Ranger's (Jeanette) "CraZy Christmas" swap, and I received these patterned papers and image from Georgia Babydoll (Pat). the nontraditional colors and I am so happy with how this card turned out. Decided it would easily fit in our challenges:
I haven't a lot of digi stamps (just finally learning how to resize them!), then found this From the Heart digi that is perfect for our Nativity theme. Made it very clean and simple (cheaper to mail!)...let's see, this makes number 13 towards my goal of 36! Simple Nativity by MommaPatti - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I'm signing up again for 2017. This is the best challenge to keep one organized. It didn't completely work in 2016 because I only got cards done through July, even if they were done in December. My new plan is to stay on top of it for 2017 and make 10 cards for each month -- DURING that month.
It's April and I still haven't uploaded any cards, but I have 4 months done since I was kind to myself and changed my number of cards to 5 per month. I have had a surplus for the last 2 years and I really don't need to make 10 cards per month.

Growing through challenges
Hi, I have recently found myself with a lot of time on my hands and would love to get back to my stamping and card making. I would be in for 3 cards a month to start. Thanks, Chris
