I got one card done! it took me a while tonight to get this one done.. I was thinking about all the families in our brigade tonight thinking about their loved ones that are on a plane bound for Iraq for a year deployment. I know how they feel because I was in the same boat last year when my husband deployed, he's home now, safe and sound.
I'll get some more made.. probably not like this one, but I'll get some made. ~ Pam

I finally added my cards. They've been done for a while. I actually made one of these cards in December, but only one. They were so much fun, I had to make more. I LOVE stitching on my cards!
You'll be seeing more of these. My good friend, Raider66, and I made these together!
I finally got my January card uploaded! It's in my gallery - hope you like it! Not the usual Christmas colors, but I was trying for something quite different. CCC11 January by itwrx4me at Splitcoaststampers
I can't play for awhile! I fell last night running to catch my train home from work...once I was able to get up and to the ER it was determined (after very, very painful xrays) that I have a broken left foot...that can't be casted because I can't use crutches due to the fact that I also broke my arm! Right now my arm is in an immobolizer and my foot is wrapped until I see an ortho doc in the AM......
My January cards have been done and posted for a few weeks...I will catch up as soon as I have use of both arms and can get down the basement stairs.....ugh....
Carol... so sorry to hear what happened to you. Take it easy and heal up.
I went to make more cards tonight and seen that I had some Santa Claus panels already stamped. They were leftovers from when I made cards for our Battalion's food baskets. I made these the same as I made those.. I really did like them cards.. maybe I'll make some more.. this is all for tonight.
Here are my January cards. I had so much fun with these. I said earlier that I didn't want to go and buy stuff and use my stash. This stamp set is one that I got last year. Thanks for keeping me on track. Kathy

btw - it's difficult typing with one hand...
Oh, man! That is rotten luck... hope you mend quickly!
Carol, so sorry about your accident. I hope your fractures heal quickly and you'll be able to get back to stamping soon. Was there ice on the pavement?

Oh Carol, so sorry to hear about your fall! That's a double whammy, to fracture both your foot and your arm! Will you need surgery? My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am very pleased to have completed my cards for this month! It was lovely having the time to do some more detailed cards than I do when I rush and I am really pleased with the result! All the cards this month used scraps which is always nice, and whilst they were a bit fiddly it was fun seeing them come together. My fav is the first one, the 9 ladies dancing, its a little quirky but cute!
When I click on your link for Dasher Square, I get the Traditional Colors Ornament. If you get a second, would you please repost the Dasher Square so we can see it?
Love the ornament cards!

This morning I whipped out some pretty easy Valentine's Day cards and it got me thinking that I could make some Christmas cards using the same layout.. so off I went about cutting and embossing everything I needed for 10 cards.. I ended up with 12 because I cut/embossed 12 for that layer.. so I did 12 ... now I can rest up for the next week or so and then start on February... what fun!!!

good evening ladies...i saw the ortho doc today...at this time it does appear that i will need surgery on my arm. the xrays are going to be repeated next friday to ensure that the bones are in the right places..that's going to hurt i bet...i almost killed the xray tech at the er the other night...after the bone in the arm knits back together - there will be rehab - oh joy - that's probably going to hurt too.....
so i'm home for awhile and it's frustrating..i can't do stairs for awhile..so the craft room is off limits...so i will have to live vicariously through all of you
Thanks so much. I had fun making them and looking through all my christmas stamps. I have so many and I love christmas so I keep buying more. But this year I said no more christmas stamps til you use all you have. Kathy
I completed my cards for January a couple of weeks ago, had my husband upload the pictures and then I could not figure out which directory he put them in. I finally caught up with him today (me working evenings and hubby working days does not make for much together time) and now I have a picture to share. This is a group shot and sort of hard to see. I will scan them in individually later. These are some stickers I got from a garage swap. I am not a sticker fan but these were lovely!
