Clean and Simple Challenge
Hello Crafty Friends! So many exciting things to share with you this week as we not only welcome the new year, but also welcome three new members to our CAS team! Woohoo! What a fun and exciting way to start the new year!
First let me make the formal introductions to the beautiful friends that will be sharing their talents with us. I've asked each of them to tell us a little about themselves and this is what they said....
First up is the Paula (MrsLaird).
Hi, Im Paula, coffee-drinking mom of three. When Im not stepping on legos, going to pretend birthday parties, or learning all about the different types of Pokemon, Im crafting. Or thinking about crafting while Im cleaning. Or drinking coffee, thinking about how I should be cleaning, but I really want to craft and maybe Ill do one or the other after I finish this cup. I have Crafty ADD and want to learn all the crafts! I also love British tv, all manner of sci-fi and geekery, and Disney. And my husband. Hes pretty awesome. CAS is my favorite stamping style and Im so excited to be joining the team.
Next up is Misti (Scraperwannabe)
Hi, my name is Misti. I'm married to an amazing man & mom to 2 boys. Both boys are competitive archers with Olympic dreams. We homeschool & travel all over the place for archery events. Stamping keeps me sane...well, helps anyway!!!! LOL I'm thrilled to be a part of the CAS team!
And our next member Kathy (KathleenCurry)
Hey Everyone!
I'm so excited to be joining the CAS team for the next 6 months. I love to make cards and while I like lots of layers, a clean uncluttered layout is always my favorite.
I currently live in NJ (but I'm not a Jersey Girl). I grew up in Delaware. I've been married for close to 13 years, met my husband at my best friend's wedding and we've been together ever since. We have four kids between 5 and 11. They keep us hopping with all their activities. Never a dull moment around here!
Stamping and paper crafting give me a nice way to unwind after the kiddos go to bed. I love to grab some red wine and dark chocolate and head into my craft room.
In my spare time (when that happens) I love to cook and try new recipes. My guilty pleasure is reality TV, I can get hooked on any and all of it. My favorites are American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and Chopped.
So looking forward to seeing and being inspired by everyone's CAS creations!
This Week's Challenge: Let's welcome the New Year any way you like! You can make a New Year's card, a celebration card, a welcome card. Let the creativity flow and lets start the year with a gallery that is bursting with beautiful projects!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS305 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
On behalf of the current team, Joyce, Angie, Lee, Janeen, and our in coming team Paula, Misti and Kathy we would like to take a moment to thank you for supporting and playing along with all the CAS challenges and wish you and your families a Happy Healthy and Joyous New Year!
