I made it while on a zoom call with my Alpha sisters, last night after you put the challenge up. I think several of us splattered while we were chatting! LOL
Misti- what a cool challenge! I found this cute bug themed background from my stamping buddies- added some drips, dots, and smears- and substituted in my own birthday panel with both drawn and punched scalloped borders- along with paper piecing my bag image. Here's Bugs with Birthday Bag

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well. This is a sympathy card for an SCS cardmaking friend whose Mom passed away in late February.
I have added splatters by flicking a fine paint brush over my card. I did learn that I should have masked the upper left to prevent the splatters from going into that area, which was not my intention, but after it was complete, I actually like it with them there.
