Congratulations to AnnsForte3 [Your badge is at the end of this post.]
Mary said:I love the stencils that Ann has been making and then creating such beautiful cards with them. This strawberry lotus blossom is just gor-juss!!
--------------- The colors for this week...........
Soft Sky ---- So Saffron --- Smoke Slate The dessert this week - scallops.
Welcome to the February Guest Designers:
Bringing their creative talents to the color challenge team this month is Angie Bode aka ohmypaper and Brenda aka tessaduck.
Angie was our fave from CC544 and
Brenda our fave from CC538 and CC562.
Sample Makers for this week: [EDITED - I messed up and told the Team Basic Gray, and told all of you Smoke Slate. I wanted to apologize to the Team for the mix up :(]
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC568 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
Oh mygollygosh this is going to be a fun month for color challenges! I'm going to learn lots, and am delighted to have been chosen for the guestie gig. Thanks!

Great color combination! Had fun using 2 small stamps from SU's Loads of Love, along with a small tag punch, did a bit of paper piecing, coloring, and added a silver brad and stone batik-like fabric strip. Here's Pumpkin Harvest

had fun creating some texture with my Steampunk ef and some grey ink rubbed on the image- added a dc cog from SU cog punch- and some "electrical tape" and golden colored washi tape with writing for an urban vibe. Finished with a squiggly border, and some gems. Here's Cogs

I didn't have the exact colors but felt I needed to create something during the blizzard. Since the windows were frozen over and I couldn't see out, I went for a cozy book. I love this chaise. I could do a card with it every day. I hope you enjoy. This is for a friend having a birthday who loves gingham. I hope she likes it.
