I love using Scripture on my cards and projects to spread the Gospel through art! This challenge has been created to encourage you to use Scripture verses on your cards or other projects and share them with us.
You could try to memorize the verse that you use as you create, but that is not a requirement of the challenge.
I know that not everyone has a large collection of Scripture stamps, but there are many sources for free digital "stamps"- you can just copy and print verses from Bible Gateway (BibleGateway.com: A searchable online Bible in over 150 versions and 50 languages.). This source is a fabulous way to search Scripture as well as key words, etc.
Also, Word Art Wednesday offers a free digital verse every two weeks on their challenge site (Word Art Wednesday). You can copy and save their verses from their site or download from Bible Gateway (which you could re-format on your computer).
So, the 2023 Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge guidelines are simple:
1. Please create a card and/or project with a Bible verse printed, stamped, hand-written or computer generated.
2. Upload a picture of your project to the Gallery and use the keyword BVC23in the keyword area so we can see your artwork when we search the gallery.
3. If you can, please copy the URL of your gallery upload and post to this thread so we can all check out your creation!
That's it! As I mentioned above, while the goal may be to post one project per month, you may post more than one and, if you are unable to post in a specific month, post the next month. We do not want anyone to feel pressured but would love to see you use more Scripture on your cards and projects.

Julie as I went about my card making thoughts I desire to make at least 12 cards with scripture as its focus. I too struggle with uploading to the gallery here unless its for DTGD, VSN, Falliday, and MISTI Monday...
I desire to be more visible to this group in 2023.

I have about a dozen scripture stamps, maybe 20, so I'm sure that's quite enough to be getting on with, lol! Great idea about printing your own. I'd forgotten that I have a binder full of verses where I did just that, years ago. Thanks for the reminder—this ancient brain appreciates the prod, lol 😂

would you possibly have one or both stamp sets that you might part with? We have an Easter card project at Church for shut Ins and having a tough time finding these sets. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I'll try and help, but mostly what I have a lot of is scripture printed onto photocopy paper. I usually stick them to a bit of card stock to give them some body, or use them as backgrounds. Is that what you were wanting? Or some actual stamps? If you want verses, tell me the verse ref and translation you prefer and I'm more than happy to pretty them up for you and send you a PDF that you can print at home. Maybe PM me on here so we don't clutter up this thread 😊

Hi Everyone! I am so thrilled to see you in this thread as well as the gallery! I will try to play catch up on commenting soon, but am thankful for each of you!
I have been creating in between taking care of both of my homes (still working on the remodeling of one as well), plus trying to take care of everything since my hubby went to be with the Lord.
I am struggling with finding the time to upload to my gallery (but am posting to my blog), The majority of my cards will have Scripture on the front since that is my favorite type of card to create :-)
This card was designed for the new #191 Challenge at The Card Concept and the verse is from one of the current stamp sets available from Stamp Simply (the set is called Farmhouse Scripture Quotes and I love the use of the different fonts).
What are you going to do with 24 of these bookms, smadson??? I love them. Want my address 😉 j/k
they are for the ladies in the Bible study I lead. We begin tomorrow with a fellowship, refreshments, etc. We decorated the tables at church .Sunday, and tomorrow I will put a bookmark at each place setting, .they will sign up for the Bible study and get their books tomorrow. It will be .On Our Knees by Susan Heck. She is a good teacher, I have been to several women’s retreats and heard her speak. She also has lots of teachings on you tube, anyway looking forward to it.
