Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending Saturday, November 13, 2021
I can't believe that the year is almost gone! I have only 7 weeks to complete a correspondence course and am having to really buckle down. I know that December is going to come way too fast!
I'm not making a lot of cards right now...but that doesn't even begin to stop me from admiring all the lovely CAS cards in the gallery. Here's some of what I saved this week:
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
--------------------------------
And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the DESIGN.
Clean and Simple design is:
* Uncluttered,
* has lots of white or open space, and
* has one main focal point.
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If you have favorites that don't fit the Clean and Simple thread, we encourage you to share them on the regular Favorites thread.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in Forums at Splitcoaststampers.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thanks so much, Diane and Susan, for including my cards on your lists. As you know, I appreciate it. Thank you, Karen, for giving of your time to let me know. Hugs, Sallie

Linda (Holstein) Thank you so much for listing my card, My Little Snowman, among your favorites. And, yes, I had to start back posting with a snowman. Ha I am so glad to be back home (SCS) with so many wonderful crafters.

Thank you, miss Karen (kdunbrook), for notifying me of the happy news!
Boy, was the SCS gallery overflowing this past week with AWESOME Falliday Fest submissions!!!!!!!!! It made my heart so happy to see all the creative, happy inspiration! (Can I say "happy" one more time? :lolo: But of course I can! :mrgreen
Admittedly, I did a poor job of keeping track of favorites as I worked at breakneck speed to do my own cards for the challenges, but here are a few I remembered to mark:
Oooooo! I just LOVED looking at these another time around! I missed so many that I adored this past week with this list, but I wanted to make sure these folks at least got a shout out!
Hugs and blessings,
Chrissy

And thank you Karen for sending the mail
Chrissy, thanks so much for the nod on that tree. I was pretty tickled with that one too ( first try not a 1001th edition kwim?) Karen, thanks for the happy mail!
