Done at last!! This one was HARD for me--now I just want to surf through and enjoy everyone else's cards and hopefully get some ideas for future ribbon-y cards
I have done a couple of cards for this challenge..........truly a challenge for me as I am very ribbon impaired. Looked at this challenge prior to my trip to Michaels and just had to stop by the ribbon sale!!!
I love this ribbon but it's hard to use unless you start with it. I'm so glad that my "Simply the Best" didn't sell on eBay - I was looking for an excuse to not sell it and it was perfect for this!
I can't wait to get started on this. I have tons of ribbon that is so cute, just a little tricky to use on just any ol' card. I did use some of that hard-to-use ribbon on one of my index cards I made. Maybe, I'll use that same ribbon again.
I've had a long day, but I can't wait to see all of your creations... and to make some more of my own! :-D I came home to fun! My mailbox was full of I-RAKS so I have new images to play with! AND.... I'M OFFICIAL! I GOT MY SU DEMO NUMBER TODAY!!!! I just can't get on the site because I have no idea what my user ID is! But I have a password! :p :p Anyway, please understand if I'm so excited that I wait to see all of your cards. I have to figure out how to get access to all this demo stuff. I'm official! :-D
Here is this week's sketch challenge inspired by the limited supplies challenge of patterned ribbon. I chose some dog themed ribbon I've been hoarding.
I'm taking a break from painting my 120 swap cards for our SCS dinner at convention session1. I'm behind but had to rest my back. I get so much pleasure out of the challenges and had to sneak in for a look. I'll be back if I ever get done. I think I bit off more than I can chew. It will be worth though. Bye!!!
Well ladies... I have spent my morning looking at all your wonderful cards - very impressive! Guess I need to feed my ds breakfast now since it's 9AM here in Okinawa. A typhoon is on the way, so I should be able to stamp more later - When one is house bound, nothing to do but stamp - yee ha!!
I could play in this challenge 100 times...I'm so bad about buying ribbon and then never using it! This has been one of my fave challenges in a long time - THANKS!
I just made this the other day! I have gone round and round with wanting to use this ribbon for ages and I think I fianlly made a card that it goes with.

I cased the card on the back of the catalog- intertwining yesterday's challenge with the ribbon challenge today! I am just psyched that I did two challenges in a row!

I did this this afternoon before I had to run out for a meeting and just now got to upload it. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I've had this ribbon and thought of using for this challenge. Since the flowers on the ribbon had so many colors I thought of using my Spectrum pad and also had the flower brads in colors to match. Hope it is OK. Thanks for looking.

This is my first contribution to a challenge. I pieced my ribbon to fill in a dress, it reminded me of a wedding dress, so added the blessings, and now have a congratulations card!
