Gee, I must be different from you guys... I don't care if I can order at midnight; even if things sell out I have more than enough to keep me busy until things get back in stock. But good golly Ms Molly, it's a good thing Nichole's blog works, lol, since I just want to win it all, lol lol lol!!
You crack me up - I'm also sooooo grateful that Nichole's blog isn't the part that crashed! I have never ordered on release night - too much temptation to just hit the "I WANT IT ALL" button. I need a cooling off period after all the wonderful sets are revealed so that I don't spend the mortgage each month!
I'm sure the women of PTI are beyond disappointed by this...I'm still so impressed by this company and the love they shower on their customers. I mean, c'mon...what other company gives away such HUGE prize packages on a regular basis? I'm also impressed with their latest decision to toss in a reinker with the order of one of the pigment ink pads. And the frequent sharing of such great ideas and even some templates once in awhile...all that and more is why PTI has my loyalty (even when they just don't seem to want to take my mortgage money on release nite! )
Ok finally got it up but now several of the things I had in my cart at the new store say they aren't available at the old one!! Anyone else having this issue?

also, the carts are different because the databases are different, so if you had anything in your cart waiting to put more in tonight, they wont be there.

Close your browser then go back in and type in www.papertreyink.com and you should be able to get into the old site. Just hitting refresh doesn't seam to work.

Just the NEW RELEASE stuff will be on the front page but everything else is still orderable

No, I think you are right, Ted, because I have Hawaiian Shores ink ready to go in my cart. Just the new stuff will be available on the front page. I don't think they are going to "load" it in to the old categories like "Stamps by Name" for example.
I'm definitely NOT going to try to order Beautiful Blooms II again...I'm going to wait and see what their explanation is for canceling my order.
Kelly, I'm sorry for your frustration, but I can tell you that Jane in customer Service is one of the most honest, on-the-ball people I've ever met. I am quite sure that she will get your order taken care of. Best wishes for it being a quick resolution!
Haven't been able to get into the forums to ask but does anyone know if they have posted what the copic trio colors will be for the Simply Chartreuse being released tonight. Just wanted to check if I have them already or not and it's not always updated on the site at midnight.

Ah...then I must have misinterpreted what the person on here said... I thought she meant that ONLY new items would be available... and NO older items whatsoever.
About the gift certificate? Maybe you should wait until the kinks are worked out to use it. I would be afraid tonight! I wouldn't want you to get charged and then have your gift certificate never work again, either!

Glad I put some stuff in my cart a few days ago. Those items are still there. So, it seems if you put stuff in your cart using the old site, those items will still be there.

Thanks, Debbie, I appreciate that a lot. It's just a tad frustrating to think I might have to wait until next Wednesday (three business days) to hear anything.

Well I guess that explains why I can't reset my password either. I had requested it earlier like a good little user but didn't have time to change it earlier. I hadn't even bothered to check the site first.
Sigh. I only read the first page of comments. I almost posted something similar to Ted. I work in IT, not directly with web apps but enough to know that getting new servers load balanced properly is not something you would expect to do in a day, especially a day before something like your big monthly release. Sigh. Sadly, we all feel their pain.

If you can buy through the old site you might be able to use them tonight. Otherwise, you need to contact CS and have them reissue you codes-- there were a couple of posts in their forum earlier today. Sorry!
