What a fun thread!! I haven't done too bad lately... I bought 4 retiring sets, a pack of SU cardstock and 2 inkpads and a couple stamps at the Heirloom Convention. I bought a laptop though so it's not like I have been saving my money!! I want a Cuttlebug SO badly... do you think they will ever come down in price?
OK I've been scrolling through and I think I have you all beat....I bought all 4 sets of copics from MFT...plus some stamp sets plus new Amy Butler pp and list goes on and on.....you don't even want to know my total!!!!! Ack! Sure is fun though!
I got the OK to order all 4 sets of the Copics too!!!! plus lets see.....Papertrey, CHF...Papertrey, Bellas....
Wow ~~ you ladies who have ordered ALL the Copics ~~ I hope you know how lucky you are!!! I am saving my pennies and saving my pennies ~~ those unfortunately are not in my near future!!
I buy too much every month. I meet with a group of friends to make cards every week and have a group member who signed up to be an SU demo just for the group. We take turns on who is the hostess so every 6 weeks or so one of us gets to be the hostess. Usually it amounts to the $150 level but it is nice to get the little set and $15 of merchandise. I feel I should order to help the other person get to the $150 sooner. I order $30 or so every other week. A scrapbook/stamping store opened recently in our area and I've been patronizing that store because I want to keep that store around because I don't like going to Joann's or Michaels that much, and then there is the online ordering. Everytime I see something new, I'm on-line researching it and sometimes ordering. Don't get me started. I've out grown my little home office space that doubles as my craft space too.
Well I just placed a hostess order from the old catalog all by myself. Mostly paper and reinkers.
This weekend is GASC-Chantilly, but I may not find anything there except reinkers unless someone has Palette Hybrid pads. I really have too many stamps right now.
I have to go by my LStS before hitting GASC because they are having 30% off coupons if you market the discount coupons to someone else. Wanted to get in and out of GASC by noon, but I have to cram in an hour of day camp parent training during that time. How dare they interfere with my retail time?
It has been an insane month for spending! But I am taking a week off work so hopefully I will get to use some of the things that I have purchased. And of course visiting this site every day is not helping since I just keep finding more and more things!

Glad to know that I am not the ONLY one out there spending like CRAZY!!! LOL!
I stocked up on ink & SU cardstock--like $400!! All by myself!! (now, that is INSANE!!!)
...and then I spent $100 in MORE ink pads that were ON SALE at Hobby Lobby this week--how could I resist 50% off Ranger Distress Inks, Big & Juicy Pads, Kaleidacolor, more Staz-on in every color, etc!!!
The cashier must had thought I was opening my own Ink Pad store!!!
I have been completely out of control with my spending. I got introduced to SU in February and I freaked out over how cute everything is. I *needed* absolutely everything!! I got my credit card bill this week and I have come back down to earth. My basement (craft room woohoooooo) is almost done so the spending will surely start up again. *sigh*
I've finally decided that rather than single-handedly meeting my demo's minimums, I might as well do it for myself. Since I plan on being a hobbyist, I won't have to worry about having retired stuff....where way too much of my DH's hard-earned money has gone these past two months. Besides lots of SU stuff, I also purchased several House Mouse stamps with ATRS's sale last week, Papertrey's newest set, Ellen's June stamp of the month kit, several Changito stamps (thank you Beate for the enabling)...you get the picture. I really don't know who I'm kidding. I'm lucky to get 2 hours a week for stamping time because of my little ones. DH will be gone next week for Summer Camp with the scouts, so I plan on using my evenings to stamp, stamp, stamp! Oh yes, I also got a Bind-it-all!
This month??? Been crazy spending since March.  I am very happy to that I am single and with a job, if I have a hubby he'd probably divorce me with all the spending. lol!
I broke down and ordered You Make Me Happy from the Spring Mini. I also stocked up on all the In Color Reinkers and a package of cardstock for each too. ( I already have two Marigold Morning and Cool Caribbean packs.) I think I spent about $80 on my order which is alot for me-- I'm a starving student! But who needs food when you've got stamps!?!!
Oh my, I've ordered the $300 minimum all by myself for the last 5 months just to get consistency counts and great reward points. This months' order has not gone in yet. I have not picked up any new customers, but I've had people want me to make specific cards for them lately. They have paid $5 per card so I have gotten a little back on my investment. But nowhere near the $1700 I have spent since January. If my husband only really knew what I have spent I would be getting a lecture for sure.

You HAVE to get a Bug. You will love it. If there is a Michales or JoAnns in your area get it there with a coupon. JoAnns had it on sale recently on the web site for about $53 but you can do better at the store.
Did I mention that its adorable?
Oh, and that its a lovely shade of green ;)
Barbie, I want one SO much!!! I just got an e-mail that AC Moore is having a 40% off sale on all Cuttlebugs and merchandise. It starts Sunday and I got paid today... I may not be able to resist! But $53 is a great price. AC Moore in my area has them for $80. I will check out Joann's... thanks for the tip!!
I actually gave myself a $50 craft-spending limit for the month of June. I went way over that by the end of the first week, and just kept on spending. Very bad!
In total, I've spent just over $250 this month for SU! stuff. I did a hostess order for myself (my sis is a demo) just over $150, then put another $100 towards her Retirement Party. I've also hit up the local craft stores for embellishments, and for things to make a doggie scrapbook. DH is OOT, so it keeps me happy and busy.

I have been pretty good in anticipation of next month. I allow myself $200 in July and January every year. (I am a demo) But this year I lost a ton of sets to retirement so I will start at $300.

Just did $150 on retiring ink catridges, $140 at my party this month, $100 that my husband spent at my party this month, $50 at my girlfriend's party, plus the stamp club, and various retired sets from BST and eBay..
I think I'll go throw up now...
OH! WAIT! My party order is coming Monday! That's enough to make anyone feel better!

looking at your avaitar horses are another hobby??/ me too nothing like having two hobbies suck the life out of your hubbys wallet........poor wallet...
Yeah I did go a bit spending crazy this month but not so much on stamps this time. We are getting ready to move so I bought new shower curtains for the new house. My 3 almost 4 yr old dd is moving to a big girl bed so I bought her a new twin size bedding set. SO CUTE (Eric Carle Hungry Catepillar set!) Plus my other dd found an absolutely adorable halloween costume she decided she wants for this year.
Not to mention Build a Bear workshop just opened here in Anchorage and a good friend of mine works there and gave us a coupon for 20% off our purchase for friends and family night. It doesn't take much to add up in there!
3 horses and a stamping addiction to suck the life out of my wallet...hubby doesn't ride or stamp, so it's all on me unless I "earn" stamp sets by cleaning, wlaking the dog, etc.

Yep - my demo even told me she hit the jackpot when I placed my SU order this week....
At least I only have to answer to my dog when I overspend - and as long as he gets his bowl of water, food and a daily belly rub, he's not complaining about my spending habits!
*LOL* Same here! My dog doesn't complain too much cause my home business is dog treats that I make and sell and he's always got goodies to munch on! ;)
Wow ~~ you ladies who have ordered ALL the Copics ~~ I hope you know how lucky you are!!! I am saving my pennies and saving my pennies ~~ those unfortunately are not in my near future!!
I think it's a good thing that I don't know what Copics are....

40% off the normal price was something like $48 so it's still even better than the $53 at Joann's. I got mine this past week and have played with it every day! I LOVE it!
I just bought all the new in colors and inks. I can't wait for the new catalogue to come out. I am ready to make my wish list. Of course I should be saving for the new child on the way. Damn SU. They should start a group like AA for SU addicts!
Count me into the crazy spending club. I placed another SU order, two orders at Papertreyink, coaster order here on SCS, stuff from StarLitStudio, my regular Paper Pretties kit and an add on order for next month. I also spent a bunch at the dollar store on things to alter... Yep. Things are going to have to be curbed around here.
Every month, I spend like crazy!!! This month has been a slower month, and I received a full set of copic markers today:twisted: I spent 64.75 on 4 rolls of May Arts Ribbon. My $60 dollar monthly Paper Pretties Box, about $100 dollars on some A Muse stamps. And on Tuesday I am going to buy about 1500 dollars in camera stuff.
LOL ~~ I just have to share this ~~ my hubby's been looking for a new job. He had to take a huge pay cut 4 years ago, & after 13 years at the same job he's making almost the same as when he started. I'm a SAHM, which is why we have to watch our pennies. He just told me today that the company where his friend works will be hiring soon. I said "do they pay well?" ~~ when he told me what his friend makes I about keeled over. First thought was, why didn't he apply a long time ago? Second thought was, I could buy some Copics!!!
On Wednesday, I spent just a tish over $5000 on a new laptop ($2600+), two LCD projectors ($850+ each) and a color laser printer ($600+). The best part is that none of it was my money. The only bummer is that none of it is for me. All for my boss, but it was still fun buying the stuff online.
Yesterday I had to make a quick run to Fargo to buy a new power adapter for my Dell laptop. ($60+) At least I can expense this plus my mileage. (Mileage checks are always spent on stamping stuff.)

retail therapy and retiring stamp sets got to me, I hope my husband gets over it, and I'm home instead of him when it arrives. I spent $130.
on best of cluck, crab and company, doodle this, perfect layers, and 2 paper packs and I'm still disappointed I couldn't have gotten more paper packs,
oh well, I at least got some of the retiring items have fun gals
I'm glad I'm not the only one...this mth I have bought from 3 LSS, 4 online stores, SU and CTMH. My cc is burning up! I don't shop like this every mth tho so I will slow it down a bit now. Ya, right...who am I kidding????
Yes, I've overdone it a bit as well. I think it's because the kids are out of school and driving me crazy and I'm in need of some retail therapy.
From SU I bought a Knobby Gnomes stamp set, a Wonderful Words set, and some cardstock.
From my local stamp store I bought a scalloped circle Giga punch, a regular circle punch, a floral stamp set, a stamp cube, and some ink and stickles.
From AC Moore there's paper, adhesive, and some stickers and other misc. embellishments. I did resist putting in an order with some friends on an Oriental Trading order, so I'm proud of that bit of restraint!
