Default Bella Stamps

I recently bought two bella stamps. One is the girl holding presents and the other one is the girl holding a martini glass.
This is the first non SU stamp I've purchased and I didn't realize it did not come with a block to mount the stamp on.
In checking the website, I noticed that they only have acrylic blocks not wood one. I've never used the clear blocks but I can learn - don't even know whether I will like them or not. What size do I need to buy for my two bellas?
Thanks

Default Acrylic Block for Bella

I would think a 2.5 x 3.5 would work. I just bought mine and the sheet of sticky stuff from stampingbella.com.

You can also just go to the store and get some if you don't want to wait. ;)

Another good idea - this sound dumb but I don't go into the stamp aisles at Hobby Lobby only because I buy only SU stamps.

Is that where you would pick up the acrylic blocks?

Thanks

When you get the acrylic blocks (which you can pick up at almost any craft store) the Bellas will just stick right to it. I like the acrylic because you can see exactly where the stamp is going to go, unlike the wood.

Has something changed since the last Bella's I got??? I think you need something to make them stick to the acrylic! Either double sided foam tape or ez-mount or cling stuff; on the Bella website, they give advice on what to use to stamp with the Bella's; there are also a few threads on here which discuss this at length! Try doing a search up at the top of the page for Bellas and you should find lots more info!

I am still waiting for my bellas in the mail. What do people find is the best to use for sticking the bellas to the acrylic blocks? I don't want to buy something and then it not work right.

Honestly, I just use scotch double stick tape. One application of two 3/4" - 1" pieces will hold up through quite a few stamps!

I just use double sided tape and it works perfectly. Most of the long bellas will work on the long clear block from Hobby Lobby.
