Don't know if this is the right forum to post in, but does anyone have any ideas on how to use this SU set...bugs & kisses??? I bought this set, because it is sooo cute, but now that I have it...I don't know what to make with it...I mainly do cards...any help would be grateful...thanks!

I don't know if you know this, but each SU stamp set has it's own particular gallery...which is perfect when you are stumped!

Here is the link for the Bugs and Kisses...happy creating!

I just bought this set, and took it out today! I used it for two challenges:

SC125 & WT114 by nabush at Splitcoaststampers

We also used it to make a cute scrapbook page in my stamp club. I don't have a picture of it in my gallery, however.

We used Bugs & Kisses for a make-and-take, and it really came out cute. We used Versamark and then used three different Pearl Ex colors with clear embossing powder. We used about 1/3 each color (all pastels) on the caterpillar, tapping off the excess before adding the next color, and then heat embossing, doing the same thing with the "bugs and kisses", and using just one color for the other two bugs. This would be a good one just to play with. Enjoy!

I just got that same Stamp set from TAC this week.

I took it out to play with it lastnight....Trying different ways to add color to the stamps.

So far I have used my Palette ink spot's for color, and my Tombow markers.

Anyone else got any other good ideas for color on Soild Stamps.??

Asela has a neat tutorial on using colored pencils over markers...I wonder if it would work to add some "umpf" to the palette inks?

Here's her blog link: http://hopartstudios.typepad.com/

You could use the gel pens for some raised effects.

OMG, Chris, you're with Usborne now! Man, I love those books. When I just began my day care, well, 3 years in, I became an Usaborne consultant just so I could stock my day care library with great books! I was very fortunate to meet Peter Usborne (a very funny man, BTW) and Stephen Cartwright(sadly deceased) who illustrarted all the Farmyard Tales books, and others. I LOVE the "find the duck on every page" concept. Enjoy your new adventure! If you get a chance to go to a conference and meet Peter, go for it!
