CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for the week ending December 11, 2011
Welcome to the CAS favorites for this week. This thread is a way to give a special shout-out to those who created the projects you loved and favorited this past week.
Here's some that I put in my favorites gallery this week:
I hope you've been saving up some special Favorites, since we'll be doing a "Best of CAS in 2011" thread again this year. I know I have put almost all of my favorites from this year on my computer, and my favorites folder is much smaller than it was, with my "favoritest of the favorites" left on there. I'll still have to pare that down a lot more...unless you want to go through 400 from me!
Much of the activity will be on New Year's Day, although there will also be posting on New Year's Eve and throughout the following week. Judging from last year, this thread might have three or four times the number of links as our typical weekly thread. But it is always a ton of fun! Be watching for it!
Happy Sunday, everyone! It seems as though my gallery time has become nearly nonexistent lately, but here are a few wonderful cards that I did not see shared yet on this thread:
mamamostamps Ippity Christmas was a cure for the blues
Biggan's frosty evening is awe inspiring simplicity
inkpad's Doily card uses kraft in an elegant way
Jeanne S's Forever in my Heart is warm, sweet and beautiful
Benzi has finished Christmas and is moving on with her Lattice Heart delight
TrishG made a Fabulous Masculine card
Aimes' Deck the Halls is a study in clean
ejkeaton's dear friend is such a dear card
Grandma Overboard's Fresh Vintage combines lovely colors and layout
Loll Thompson's ...on my drum made me smile
jdmommy treated us to a Pine Sneak
hskelly made a Very Real and Wild, fun card
janellelarson's Snowy Sled used bakers twine in a unique and adorable way
mamaxsix's Falling for Buttons and Twine combined Monday's challenges delightfully
Karen B Barber's Warm Fuzzie Christmas explains while quilts are so costly
and VDM's Let it Snow used an unexpected color theme for this season in such a lovely way.
Thanks Diane for getting us started this week. Thank you Karen for making sure that everyone knows that they have been acknowledged. Blessings ans gratitude to all who post cards...especially CAS for the wonderful inspiration. Have a peaceful week>
