It's Debbie and it's my week to start the CAS Favorites thread.
I love summertime, but must say I've been enjoying seeing the Fall colors and images starting to show up in the Gallery. And, yes, enjoying seeing more Christmas cards as they remind me that, while 15 more weekends till Christmas SOUNDS like a long time, in the blink of an eye it will be Halloween, then Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Plus, who wants to be heads down doing Christmas cards come October when there will be all those fun HYCCT challenges to play?
But, hey, for tonight, all I need to focus on is sharing my CAS favorites from this past week with all of you. That, and seeing which CAS beauties caught YOUR eye this week. So let's get to it!
Autumn Leaves by Loll Thompson I love the composition of this CAS stunner -- the soft leaves, the raised stencil and the gorgeous fire of the copper leaves.
Yeah! by k dunbrook Love the whimsy of Karen's card. I don't think you can ever outgrow the joy of stick figures.
Happy Big Day by 3boymom *** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** No particular thing on this card that got it a place on my favorites list. It just makes me happy when I look at it. (And we can all use more happy, right?)
Thinking of You by lisa lara Love the colors and how Lisa used the sequins to lead the eye around her card.
Happy Birthday by Ardyth Perfect application of a little color for maximum effect. Wow!!!
Leaves & Acorns by hobbydujour Sallie's card is like a piece of frameable art. Stunning!
Falling Autumn Leaves by frenziedstamper I loved how Cindy's leaves varied between just starting to show their Fall colors to fully dressed in their warm Autumn hues.
Ikebana by Loll Thompson This card is the epitome of why I consider Loll to be one of the Queens of CAS. CAS Perfection!
Now it's your turn -- what caught YOUR eye this week?
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Awww, Debbie, is Christmas really that close??? I'd better be hustling on the cards... ;) I think I'll color my links in baby colors, so I don't remind myself!
I have a good collection in my favorites this week, and Debbie and Lisa mentioned quite a few already. I won't duplicate them...just add to the list!
Thank you, Debbie and Diane, for listing a card of mine among your favorites. It's always a thrill for me to be included on a CAS Favorites list. : ) Thanks, Karen, for being the bearer of such good news. I admire how you do this job single-handedly week after week...in sickness and in healthy. : ) Big Hugs, Sallie
Thanks so much Debbie and Lisa for the mention of my card here today. It was fun playing with my little stick people images and finally finding my mojo to make a card.
Hugs to you great gals.
K
Thanks, Lisa, for listing my Hip to be Square Birthday card as one of your favorites. Always happy news to wake up to on a Sunday morning! Thanks, Karen, for the notificaton.
Thanks, Diane, for mentioning my You're HOW Old card on your list. Between you and Lisa, my Sunday is starting out soooooo nice! Thanks again, Karen, for letting me know.
I had bunion surgery on Friday and now have 3 screws and a plate in my right foot. My recovery is going to take a while, and I won't be able to get into my craft room for a few weeks (I have to wait until I get into the cast - right now I'm in a splint and need to keep my foot elevated to keep the swelling down).
But I can browse the gallery! I can't figure out how to list my favorites using my tablet, so I crutched over to my husband's computer.
A few have already been mentioned, but here are some more:
I just wanted to say that I appreciate everyone's work that's posted on this weekly thread. It's the highlight of my Sunday afternoon! There are so many talented people here.
Thanks Ruthie for chosing one of my cards. I do love that little mouse! And thanks Karen for letting me know. I'll be right back to add some of my favorites to the lists here.
Thanks again,
Pat

Oh my! Thank you so much, Pat, for mentioning my Hello Big City card! It's so very sweet of you and I so appreciate it.
Thanks, Karen, mf, for letting me know! I hope your foot is better, Sue! I well remember pushing my sis around in a wheelchair after she had that surgery. We laugh now, but I know it was awful.
