My mimi sets are backordered, so I have made about 80 cards so far with older stamp sets. I have never made this many before. I don't even have 80 people to send them to.
I am going simple! It is just regular size in Real Red with the fold on top. I stamped Merry & Bright in the center and at the bottom, added three white snowflakes that were punched. Fast and easy and already done!
I am doing our company's Christmas Cards this year and placed the order tonight for all of the stuff I need to start now as I have 400 of them to do, I had made 13 dirfferent samples for them to choose from so I will use one of them that they did not choose for my christmas Cards
Hi Everyone! I finally decided on stamping my own cards this year and actually cut the cs and started stamping tonight. What is everyone else doing and have you started yet?

I am doing a "few"..... I HATE doing Christmas cards... I mean seriously - those that I REALLY want to Wish a Merry Chirstmas to - I either SEE or am willing to CALL and talk long distance!
That being said - I am trying to do a few this year and add in follow on years (maybe!)
This year I am hoping the"simple Swap I particiapted in will help with some ideas.
THe one I have done that is "ok" was with Border Buddies and Greetings 4 you (Both retired last year) and uses DD.
When mybattery recharges I''ll take and psot a pic in my gallery!
I just ordered a bunch of sets from the mini holiday catty (yes, I know...I'm spoiling myself), so I have those yet to play with. I've already designed about 6 or 8 so far, but can't decide which ones to go with. This one using masking tape and glitter on the cut out areas is my favourite so far. At this rate, everyone on my list just might get a different card!
I am not very creative, but I'm great at CASEing. My cards are coming directly out of this year's Idea Book and Catalog. I'm doing the Star of Wonder one on page 43. I let dh pick out what he wanted, and that's it. At least I'll get some new tags out of it (the sample uses the large squares so I'll have the small ones to play with) and a new punch. Dawn

I am finished with all of my christmas cards already (used gift of love that retired.. same cards as the samples cause i love em) but, my mother in law has assigned me to her christmas cards too.. thats like 70 to do hehe. She buys the sets..I make the cards and keep the sets. I just figure I'll do 10 or so of each design. 20 cards (2 diff kinds) made so far. Ugh.. need ideas..... time to search the gallery and CASE

Wow KGidget I love that card, except I think I would use some gold cord on it to make it "dressed up " a bit. Hmmm I think I need a square punch ;) Will have to see. I don't do the same design for my Christmas cards, I do about 10 of 4 different designs because I get bored doing same one for 40-50 cards (depending on how "merry" I feel ) Not sure what I am doing this year, CASED one I love from last years catty and it is fairly easy to do.
I do funny, elegant, and kind of contemporary cards and send them to people who match the category. I try to personalize and write gofy poems on the inside for my good friends.
On top of that I send Christmas cards from Camden (our now 3 year old) to the children of my friends and his cousin-he will be sending out Pickup truck cards from loads of love-probably one I have in the gallery with the present flying put of the back. "Camden" also sends little sweet ones for 1st Christmas' of new babies. 4 new babies of good friends this year!
I have a ton of samples from retired sets that I will make into cards as well.

Last year I did ten each of 4 different color varieties of the same basic design. Boring but it was the first year I made my own. This year I set my goal to make as many different cards as I could. I have to check again and see if I still need 40. I don't know if I can think up 40 in time for Christmas and since my mom and I share supplies, I only stamp in marathons when I'm at her house. I have 6 done I think.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that's almost done with my cards! This year I stole the idea of the paint chip cards I saw on this site and stamped the tree from Flaky Friends in the 4 spots of the paint chip and put either celebrate or Happy Holidays at the bottom- add some accessories (eyelets and cord) and voila! When I went to H@me Dep@t to get the paint chips, I only got a few of each color of cardstock, so the cards are all different colors, but the same design. I can't imagine doing 50+ different cards!!! My creative juice pitcher is NEVER that full!
My Christmas Cards are going to be pretty quick to do this year (gosh...that stuff is in my stamping room waiting for me to get started!).
I'm going to use Sage Shadow as the base card (with fold on top) and a circle punched from Rose Red in the center. Then, I'm going to stamp the large circle from Simple Shapes in Sage Shadow on either side of the red punch. I'm going to use the ornament hanger from Just My Type (in Night of Navy) and stamp that on top of each circle to make Christmas Ornaments! Oh, and did I mention that I'm using the Christmas saying from Just My Type on the Rose Red circle?
It won't be too complicated for the 100 cards I have to make.
