I got the vitamin e cream at the dollar store, two bottles for $3.00.


It took almost $30.00 dollars of the lotion stuff to fill 100 2 oz bottles.
The men's will probably be a little more expensive, I have some masculine Vaseline intensive lotion from Wal Mart, mix it with vaseline, and try to find some unscented baby lotion, I think Target has a brand.


I just want to get this project done, and get the boxes and bags out of my scrap/stamp room.

I did the dollar store brands and the stuff went bad pretty fast...and was not like the original.

I get the Vit E at Walmart (2 for $4) and use the Walmart brands of Vaseline and baby lotion and it worked just like the 'real' stuff. But I did find out that I am only saving a couple of dollars...except at the dollar store--I wasted a bunch of money there!

The store brand Vaseline takes longer to mix in due to a higher paraffin level.

Anyway--Vegas Wife aka Denise is the one who made up this recipe so kudos to her for sharing.
