Default dazzling diamonds EYESHADOW??

This makes me laugh, even as I am typing this.
I just had one of my customers ask me if I had any Dazzling Diamonds on hand to sell her. She said that her teenage daughter has been using her DD as eyeshadow and thinks it is the greatest thing ever so she wants to get some more for her stocking so she stays out of her stamping stuff.
So mothers of teenage girls, guard your dazzling diamonds. I am hoping my daughter doesn't hear about this new craze.
Personally I am thinking...wouldn't that hurt if you got it in your eye?

LOL!

Sometimes I look like I use it as eyeshadow after I've been working on cards! I always seem to have a sparkley face when I use glitter

last year, one of our makeup promotions at toni and guy was something that looked JUST LIKE dazzling diamonds... i am sure the glitter is fine.. there is so much make up containing glitter now. i can see it being a beautiful highlighter.. may have to try it.

Hmm...does she use heat-n-stick on her eyelids first, or a VersaMarker? Maybe just an eyelid-shaped piece of Terrifically Tacky Tape?

Cris:

I would caution your customer about having her daughter use the glitter on her eyes. I'm an independent beauty consultant and have been taught that we should only be using eye products designed EXPRESSLY for use on or around the eyes. The particles may cause eye injury (e.g., corneal abrasions, infections) should they fall into her eyes---the LAST thing she'd want to have happen during this festive holiday season.

There's my 2 cents.

Oh my goodness... I got some of the dazzling diamonds in my eye about a month ago and it was horrible! It scratched my eye. It may look pretty, but I wouldn't want it on my eyes like that!

LOL... too funny!

My daughter liekd to put it in her hair. I had to take her to Club Libby Lu instead to get "fairy dust". It is very similar to dazzling diamonds, plus it comes with a cute brush (which I stole for card making...lol)
I too would be VERY careful about putting this near my eyes.

One year we could not find my DD's glitter spray so I grabbed my Dazzling Diamonds instead. Now every year for her dance recital, we sprinkle a little in my daughter's hair. She's the sparkliest of them all .
