Crimper - yes. If I could get results that look as good as other people do I'd use it more, sometimes I wonder if mine was faulty.
Eyelets - yes, I really like them. And although I have and regularly use the Crop-a-Dile and Big Bite, I also still sometimes use my Fiskars springl-loaded setters; I'd never get rid of them.
Brass templates - I only ever had one, never used it much.
Stylus - I have three different ones in my pen jar and use them regularly.
Brass Templates love them with embossing paste. Especially with chalking thru the template before applying the paste.
Stylus - use it, but not with brass templates. I'll use it as a scoring tool with one of my scoring boards - some cardstock seems to react better to the stylus than the official tool.
Eyelets - I have a ton of these from when I first started this hobby, because I needed lots and lots of colors, you know. But even with the Crop A Dile, I have a terrible time making the backs look nice, so I tend not to use them.
I love love love eyelets! I used to worry about the backs until it occurred to me that if I put eyelets on my layers instead of the card base, the backs won't ever show. So who cares what they look like! The only thing I have to be careful of is not squishing the poor things to bits with my Crop A Dile.

your crimper idea on ribbon is a nice effect. I have been wanting to try embossing paste, but, still not sure if I want to invest in it.
QUOTE=stamphappy1650;17915535]1 . crimper - My crimper was dust catcher until I fgiured how to crimp ribbon, not I'm using it all the time - see here
2. eyelets - every now and then - they still look cute for a twine clothsline, ribbon on a tag. I got rid of most of mine and just a few colors, gold, antique brass, etc.
3. eyelet setter - Keeping it because I still scrunch eyelets with my Big Bite
4. brass templates - I kept some becaue you can use them like a plastic embossing folder and everynow and then I like to use them with embossing paste
5. stylus - not for the brass templates but I use them to score and work with metal
6. Qulling paper and tools - I tried it don't like it but can't seem to let go.
7. Light Box - keep thinking something may come up but it hasn't been turned on in 2 years.
8. Melting Pot - used it for UTEE once and beeswax once a couple of years ago.
Some great ideas here! I love Stamphappy1650's crimped ribbon and Jan Tink's ruffle tutorial - glad I still have my crimper!
I have a lot of brass stencils that I've attempted to use with my Cuttlebug, but been less than thrilled with the results - I'll have to check out the video to see how to improve...
I had a lot of decorative-edge scissors, but scaled back to the ones I used a lot and/or that there are not punches to reproduce the same effect.
I have a lot of alphabet stencils that were collecting dust, but I re-discovered them in a recent cleaning/organizing binge and made THIS CARD with them - easy and fun!
I use my lightbox every now and then - mostly when I'm designing digital stamps - I hand-draw them initially, and tracing is easier than starting from scratch when I'm trying to tweak an image.
I'm finding that I'm revisiting many of the things I've had sitting around for a long time, and getting "back to the basics" in cardmaking/stamping, so eyelets and scissors and stencils and old papers are all actually getting used - old stamps, too!
Thanks to everyone for your input - I've got several new ideas to try!
Crimper: I use mine every now and then, sure comes in handy when I need it....like to squeeze the last of the toothpaste out of the tube when I forgot to buy more!
This is absolutely something I would never have thought of in a million years. Thanks for the tip. I hate squeezing the toothpaste tube to the last drop.
crimper - use it for candy bar wrappers and cream cheese containers, crimped green paper for flower stems, black paper for tires for a punch art car!
2. eyelets - not so much, but do have them still in every old SU color, so occassionally
3. eyelet setter - gave mine away to someone who lost theirs, but still wish i had it, when i forget to punch a hole before adhering and then can't reach with the crop-a-dile
4. brass templates - never had them, so don't miss them!
5. stylus - use it with a little bit of glue to pick up the little eye bits in my owl punch and to get them to stick in the right place...only use i have ever had for it, but glad i have it!
I have an entire box of Fiskars texture plates and a hand-held stylus to rub against them....they were tedious and time-consuming and I've never used them since the first attempt. They are all in the box!

You can use them in the cuttlebug, you tube has lots of interesting videos.;)

I use them all the time in my Cuttlebug. I use the tan rubber Spellbinders pad and they work fine. I'm not sure if you have to use the tan pad, it's just the first way I tried and it worked.
Been using my chalks again recently. Have fallen in love with them!!!
Eyelets; have'nt used recently, but hold onto them, as I plan to.
Crimper; plan to use later also. Love the tutorials on the crimped ribbon and cute borders! AWESOME!!!
Still have my lightbox and cardboss and scrapboss, along with brass stencils and stylus. Going to use them. Have recently used the cardboss.
I got rid of the Fiskar's shapeboss cutter, but kept a few of the shape stencils. I never was good with that cutter.
Keeping my hammer and eyelet setter. Haven't bought the crop-a-dile. Although, I do have a fabric eyelet setter, wonder if it works the same? Only works on specific sized eyelets though. Haven't used it yet.
Crimper- Yes. I don't use it a lot. It comes in handy for certain projects. I am glad to have mine.
Eyelets- Yes.
Eyelet Setter- No. I have sensitive hearing so I don't want to bang around to set a flimsy eyelet. I have a Japanese Book drill. One of the things I use it for is to set eyelets.
Brass Templates- Yes. Not often but I still love them. I only have a few, maybe five.
Stylus- Definite Yes. A must in my toolbox.
Decorative Scissors- Definite Yes. I love my decorative scissors. I am proud to say that. I always keep them at my desk. My friends love it when I give them little notes and "edged" the note cards with my scissors.
I actually will take a scrap piece of paper, write a note and then cut it out with decorative scissors, lol. My friends think this is magic or something.
Wow! Thanks for all the great ideas! Let's keep them coming and let's all try to challenge ourselves into making cards with these again, kind of a back to basics thing.
I'll find time to use my brass stencil with my chalk, I clearly remember this technique years ago. Would love to see more cards made using the crimper, eyelet, stencil and coloring using chalk.

DeeAnn, thanks for a great idea! I love and use my scissors too. Another great way to use them. Thanks!
Fastenater - Gosh..i have not used this in ages. Not sure why I got it either.
Eyelets - I have some that I have not used in ages. I have not bought any new ones.
Magic Mesh - bought several from the Scrapbook convention after seeing some "cool" samples in the booth there, but have not used them since.
Just wanted to share that I used my crimper to make DS' first grade v-day treats. They're not having the party till this Friday so I started this past weekend. I will make a combo of matchboxes and the favor boxes (using SU dies) covered with a band run through the crimper. I made two of each and looks good, especially the feeling of bringing life back to this tool that has been set aside for so long.
I also plan to use the brass stencils with the chalk for Easter and Mother's Day cards.

When we moved 2 years ago - I cleaned out my stash at a garage sale. Got rid of all the brass templates, light box, decorative scissors and oh... so much more.
I use my crimper occassionally, and after seeing some of the ideas here (the crimped ribbon, the crimped border) I'm going to pull it out and do some creative things.
Eyelets - I have so many of those... I really need to just use them up.
Crop a Dile - still use that to punch holes - so easy on the hands.
Chalks - still have them and haven't pulled them out in a long time. Will have to try the makeup sponge idea - I hate those little pom poms...heheheh.
1. crimper- yes! I just used it within the past month for a really cool technique called Paper Lantern from Technique Junkies
2. eyelets- yes! I dug out my old heart shaped eyelets for a Valentine's card, which brings me to #3....
3. eyelet setter- yes! I tried the Cropadile with the old heart shaped eyelets and it did NOT work. I went thru 3 of these hoarded eyelets before I brought out my trusty old eyelet setter.
4. brass templates- oops.... I have some, probably never used em.....
5. stylus- can't remember the last time I pulled this out....
6. Fastenator - got this and a ton of the staples.... haven't used em in ages
7. chalk - yes! I just made a card a few weeks ago using chalks
8. Magic Mesh - YES! How funny! I have a card on my blog today using Magic Mesh!!!
Regarding using my stylus, I use that to define the dry embossed die cut lables I make. the rubber mat thing is too much of a hassle. and I always use a pc of wax paper, keeping it in my cuttlebug box of emboss. folders.
Let's see
Martha Stewart glue pad and refill (got it as a gift and haven't a clue what to do with it) Any suggestions out there...
I have a glue pad and its awesome. I buy the gold/copper flakes to use with it Pick a stamp (less detail works best) stamp in the glue, add flakes press them on hard and use a soft brush to brush off extras. Turns out beautiful. Can use with glitter too. I make alot of monogrammed note cards for gifts with this technique. I hope this helps.
I was first shown stamping about 10 years ago, feel in love right away.
crimper - never bought one, hadn't seen one before until a few years ago
eyelets - use occassionally, mainly for this one thing on cards (see below). discovered recently that I still have TONS of them, I think I will dig them out to use on cards instead of brads for awhile.
eyelet setter - yep still use it, it is the one from Making Memories. Tried the Crop-o-dile a few times, don't like it. My setter works great, so will stay with it.
brass stencils - bought my first one about a year ago when a local stamping store was closing, but have not used it yet because I only recently got a rubber mat for my Cuttlebug.
stylus - one of the first things I bought 10 years ago, only because my SIL had one, and since she got me into card making, I had to have everything she had. I have never used it. It is still in my stuff, just sits there lonely and unloved.
Interesting I just found this thread. I've been going through "stuff" to see what I can part with for a garage sale a group is having the last of February. I found the few brass stencils I have had forever and am putting them in. Also, some chalk ink and some decorative scissors. I have a light box which I've never used but for some reason I'm not willing to give it up yet.
Did my crimped card at card ministry on Sunday...
the ladies were going crazy for the crimper, couldn't believe it...I had to laugh, because of this thread and the fact that the crimper was one of the first tools i ever bought and it still amazed people, whoda thunk it?
1. Crimper ~ have one but do not use it much
2. Eyelets ~ have TONS and use them every now and again. Mostly I use brads.
3. Stylus ~ have several and rarely use them. I use the bone folder more often.
4. Eyelet setters ~ actually have two sets and use them when I use the eyelets. My crop-a-dile smashes them, so I am doing something wrong
5. Brass Templates ~ have a few and could never get the hang of using them
6. Light Table ~ have not used it in such a long, long time and probably won't again
7. Chalks ~ I have one small set and haven't used them enough to get very good at it. Probably won't use them again.
8. The Magic Matter ~ (mentioned in post 26) I forgot I even had this. I used to use it all the time.
Needless to say, I have TOO much stuff and need to pass some of it to a worthy cause!
1. crimper - I love the look and especially now with all these great ideas - I just forget to use it.
2. eyelets - About the only time I use them is when I'm hanging a small tag on a card to keep the hole from tearing.
3. eyelet setter - just used one the other day but for making a hole for brads because I wanted the placement to be perfect, and sometimes that's hard with the crop-a-dile. Love my crop-a-dile, keep the eyelet setter handy for hard-to-reach areas.
4. brass templates - Yeah, it may be time to acknowledge I'm not using them and probably won't.
5. stylus - Great for shaping paper into flowers, so hanging onto it.
