This subscription is worth more than 87.9999% of all other stamping magazines combined. The missing percent is the net debit to your bank account when you purchase all the must haves based on all the great ideas here!

Absolutely worth it!;)

Heck YES!!! and one advantage that a mag can't give you- you can PM the artist if you have a question. The work is incredible.

YEEESSSS!!! Get the Fan Club subscription!!!!! It is the best $25 I've spent for inspiration  The Dirty Dozen put so much work into the beautiful things that are posted once a month. Plus, you'll be supporting the site, and you won't have to wait for image upload approval (which means you can upload on Sundays, too).

It is SO worth it!

yes the samples and information is great but I look at it this way. I use this forum a lot between gallery watching and chatting with friends and it boils down to about 2 bucks a month yeah thats worth it

I would pay the $30 Canadian even if there were no perks just to support the site! I have only been here 2 weeks and I have watched my card making improve daily!!

Just yesterday I was strolling through Walmart and was just about to hit the Mag aisle to see if there was a new Issue of one of my fave Card mags in and changed my mind as I thought to myself , 'Everything I could get from a mag AND MORE is right at my fingertips on SCS...and more organized!!!

Magazine Subscription - $25 -$30
SCS Subscription - $25
Benefits of SCS Subscription - Priceless

I'm a member and would be one even without the DD Gallery bonus. I want to support this site, all the workers behind the scenes do an incredible job and it costs money to keep it going. Like others have said, you get more great info and ideas here than $100s worth of stamp magazines.

Personally, I would do anything I can to support the wonderful people that run this site. The money they spend and the hours they spend to maintain this site is tremendous and if my 25.00 membership helps just a little, I am happy to do it. SCS has given me soooo many good ideas and interesting "threads" over the years that I will always find a way to renew that membership

Someone give her a snickers bar quick!!! She talkin jibberish!!!

The DD is totally worth the $$. Honestly, I'd probably pay more than what they ask but we won't tell Daven that... ;)

Their creations are more than just eye candy, I learn a lot of new things from the DD girls. Unfortunately for me, I don't always have the time to do what I learn but it is still a wonderful thing!!!

HTH!

I still get magazines..and I signed up for mos because we're a bit short right now (presuming I renew, that's more money to the site anyway ;)...but here you can just contact the artist if you have a question -- not sure what success you'd have with that and the mags I wanted inspiration from cardmakers other cardmakers thought rocked...to help me figure out what rocks. LOL! I like it.

I'm not exaggerating.... I am a BETTER stamper BECAUSE of the DD gallery! (check out the "old" stuff in my gallery vs my "new" stuff... big dif!)

I have been stamping for 11 years and I really enjoyed it, I bought all the magazines, etc. Then came SCS, ok, now I was really seeing some cool ideas. Then I decided to join the DDgallery just to see the projects for Christmas present ideas. WOW, suddenly I GOT IT! The level of stamping from these ladies is unlike anything you get in a magazine. I seldom exactly CASE a card but I do pick up amazing ideas, inspiration, tricks, tips, stuff I would never have done before.
As Nike would say...
JUST DO IT!

Here's my two cents - I had been going back and forth about joining the fan club - I reasoned why spend $25 bucks when the regular gallery is go awesome??? Then.....I received my stamping magazine subscriptions - most come out only 6 times/year. Some issues are just OK, others great. I realized I was spending the same, or more on a magazine subscription, but getting only on very small portion of ideas, techniques, etc that I would if I joined the fan club. Soooooo...... I plunked down my hard earned money earlier this month and I am VERY glad I did. It is well worth the money - cheaper than my stamping mag subscription with TONS more content. I am very happy with what the fan club gets me!! (Thans ladies!!).

I just wanted to clarify for those unfamiliar with the Fan Club:

Splitcoast provides forums, extensive galleries for artists to share and archive their work, and project/technique tutorials to all members free of charge.

However, the costs of servers, bandwidth, technical crew, etc., for a site this size, are significant. Financial support helps defray these costs.

Splitcoast Members that choose to donate support to the site, receive instantly approved uploading priveleges, as well as access to a special gallery that contains exclusive artwork, as a thank-you gift. The artwork is created by a rotating team of artists who all volunteer their services.

If you'd like to support Splitcoast, please click below, for more information:

Splitcoast Fan Club

Again, thank you to all Fan Club Members, for your support!

The Fan club is the best $25 I've ever spent on crafting. The only drawback, and it is pretty minor compared to all the advantages, is that I can't take the DD gallery into the can-ola with me. I hear the admins are working on some kind of patch to fix that. ;)

Just turn your lap top into a 'tank top'. Just remember to go wireless... we want the DD experience to be electrifying in a different way!
