Hi everyone! I am having a contest for my customers this month and need to know which card is best. There were no rules, just to make a card.
We'll call number 1 the card with the frogs - it's hard to tell from this scan, but the stem of the mushroom and the yellow butterfly are both popped up and the dragonfly and the snail were clear embossed.
Number 2 is the blue and purple - the background is dry embossed and is blue and a VERY dark purple (almost black looking) and the striped mat is popped up.
Number 3 is the blue, yellow, and red - the first 2 flowers are punch outs adhered to the red background and the third is punched out of the red (hard to describe and see in the scan).
Well, I think the frog card! It obviously took a ton of effort, and it's very well executed. The others are good cards, too, but to me the "top" one is the frog! I have a fondness for frogs, so that may taint my judgment. :-)

The 1st card is cute....but....cluttered. Too much happening there.....but.....fun.
I vote for #3. It's cheerful and well made.
#2 is embossed nicely on background.....but......looks like a first attempt.
Nice colours et al.
Yep, #3.
My humble opinion only.
I voted for #3. #1 looks cute, b ut seems a bit over done IMO. I'm sure it was a ton of work for her with all of the detail, but as others have said it's just a bit over the top. If the contest was for who could use the most supplies in one card, she'd toadally ;) win. lol

Toadally hilarious!!:-D (I love someone with my own sense of humor!!)
I love the card although if I had made that same design the colors would have been different (more natural or bold one or the other) and not as "cluttered feeling." But it still got my vote!
The second card looks like a lot of work due to the embossing but just doesn't look like an experienced card maker made it. It actually looks just like something my DD would make and I love it b/e of that. ;)
The third card is the cleanist looking card and looks like an experienced card maker that chose that design to reproduce many cards quickly. :-D
