Last night there was an attractive blue/brown snowflake Christmas card on the opening window in the gallery. I didn't bookmark it. I of course can't find it now.
It had 2 sizes of snowflakes on it (large/small). The large flakes were brown. I'm not sure what color the smaller flakes were.
Any thoughts?
Oh, if this helps I think the person who posted it said it was in reference to a challenge.
Well, I've looked twice through all the uploads from today through yesterday afternoon, and I don't see it.
Next time you see something you like you don't need to go as far as bookmarking it, you can just add it to your Favourites by clicking the little heart under the photo. Much easier.
All I can suggest is that you might recognise it yourself if you saw it - go to the gallery and click on Recent Uploads. If it was yesterday, you'll need to choose the 7 days option, but you won't need to look any further back than yesterday.
I am not sure if this is the card you mean but it is Snowflakes and has brown and blue in it .I am sure it was on the screen everyday since Jenna up loaded it . commented on and favorited . Just a thought , if not... you still get to see a Gorgeous card !
Uploaded in 2007, no wonder I couldn't find it! Lovely colour combination for sure.
I forget about that image slot that pulls up a random image - it doesn't stay there for all that long, either, and sometimes they do come from way back. Glad you found what you were looking for.
Ginger, next to the name of the card "Cocoa and Snowflakes" on the left of the name is an outline of a heart. Move your mouse over that heart and you'll be able to click on it.
the heart will then turn red indicating it is added to your favorites. On my computer the menu is in the upper left and there is a category called "My favorites". Once you've turned the heart red that card should show up there for you.
That's what I love about this site, I learn something new everyday.....clicking the heart is so much quicker than going down to the bottom and clicking on "Add to my Favorites"....thanks cobby!
It does not show on this page ! but if you go to the gallery , the forum , or your gallery it will show on the left side of the page ! I hope this helps....Sherrylynn
Opps it does not show when your in the forum....I thought it did ,but it will show in the gallery
I just got this tutorial from Hero Arts in my inbox today. It's snowflakes and they're really nice. You use distress ink. Inked Snowflakes - YouTube
You're welcome Ginger. Sometimes you need something quick and easy, especially when it gets closer to Christmas and all your cards aren't done yet. Every year I say I'm going to start early. That's what I say, not what I do - lol. I should start NOW.
Thanks for asking this question. I loved the non-traditional brown for a snowflake and I also love blue (my favourite colour). I've favourited this one for future reference!
