A fairly local scrapbook store just had an annual garage sale, this was the first year I knew about it. And you could pay $5 for a vendor number, then you mark your items with your price and vendor number. I had to deliver the items last week, and they did all the work (pricing was work for me). I didn't have to be there at all. And I didn't go shop the sale because it's 1.5 hours from me. I got store credit for my sales (minus 15%, totally fine with me). And I could have picked up the leftover items, or they could donate them. I chose the donation, as I didn't want any of it back. I'd been going to sell these items here or ebay, etc. and just haven't had time. I just contacted them about how much credit I got, I really had no idea. I was too scared to total up all the stuff I was taking. I have just over $1,000 store credit to use by July 31. HOLY COW!! They have a nice inventory so this should be fun!! Just had to share with people that would understand my excitement.
WOW! If you need any help shopping, just give me a call!

Yes, indeed, that is Good News! I'm glad you found out about the sale and took the trouble to tote your stuff over. I would love it if a store in my town did that.

Wow! that is fantastic! not only do you get to spend $$, you got rid of stuff you didn't need, and it shows this crafting hobby is well and truly going strong in your area!
Thank you everyone!! I'm excited. I'm hoping to get the rest of the Bird Crazy and Cat Crazy items that I don't have yet. And I'll stock up on albums and page protectors. And much more!! I need to try and be selective though, I still have a room full of stuff. This was just things I'd already had sorted out to sell (except I was able to go through my stamps and weed out some more of the ones I won't use). I'm a SU demo and the new catty is coming up soon. So at least I can spend my credit at the store and maybe have a some funds for new SU goodies. I need to keep my SU orders small until I use up some of what I have (ha ha). I'm looking forward to shopping though!!
WOW!!! YAY for you!!!! Happy dancing in my chair for you!!!! Whoot!
Kudos! You must have really cleared the decks in your space! Obviously you had good stuff for sale too!
Might this be an opportunity to get a machine you would normally consider too expensive or a high end guillotine cutter-also expensive? You would get years of use from those-the cutter might last forever.
Look at me...LOL I am back seat shopping for you! (slapping my own hand) I'll stop!
Seriously though...what a cool thing. Wish my LSS would do that. I should suggest it. I wonder if people could organize their own at the church or community center....hmm.
I may see if they have or can get a BigShot Express (the motorized BigShot) or a Vagabond 2. I have a couple manual BigShots, so I don't really need it. But since I have the credit I may go for it.

Exactly what I was gonna say! I was thinking what a good chance to pick up one of the high-dollar machines... wow good for you!
Was that at Memory Bound? I was there. Isn't that cray-cray?
It was there!! It was my first time and I took up quite a bit of stuff. If I purge between now and next year, I'm sure I'll take more up again.
I'd never heard of it and just happened to join their email list in December or January. I'm so glad I did!! Saved me so much work listing online and shipping each item!!
And I didn't attend the sale, as I didn't need to be tempted. (I knew I'd have some store credit and that would be all the new items that I'd need to bring home - I didn't even pick up my leftover items, I had them donate them.) I just had no idea that I would get that much credit. I'm so excited to go shopping!!
