I am in need of some advice  ....My friends and I got together and ordered enough merchandise from my SU demo. to earn a free stamp set (which I chose the set I wanted to use for my Christmas cards).
My demo. forgot to order it with the original order, about two months ago (Aug. 26, to be exact). She told me that she ordered it about two weeks later, and I have never heard from her since. I have left a number of messages, and even e-mailed her and gotten no response. What should I do?
I feel so cheated, and I also feel like I kinda paid for it in a 'round about way.
Any words of advice?

That sounds kinda fishy to me. The ordering system prompts you to order the hostess set and you cannot order just the set later. I don't know what advise to give you, but it doesn't sound like she has been honest with you...
Something certainly doesn't sound right about this situation. I am not sure how she could have forgotten. Also, if this order was a large enough order for a free stamp set, it would have been large enough also for free merchandise. How large an order are you talking? Do you have a catalog?

I'm not a demo, but as a loyal customer, I find this disturbing. Think I would contact SU direct with the demos name and explain the situation, see what they intend to do for you....at least that is what I would do. HTH
I think I would do the same.....they can see if she ever ordered it or not......and maybe they will contact her to try and settle this up.

I would definately call SU, because this does not sound right. I know that as a demo you place the order for the hostess set at the time you place the order, not later! You don't even have an option to wait until later to order it that I know of. You have already done your part by attempting to contact her and all!
I am so glad to hear from each of you....I'll be on the phone in the morning.
I just don't get it.
The order was for the $200-$249 level. I got my level 1 hostess set, but the $20 went toward my Christmas stamps using the free merchandise hostess awards.

Call. Have any proof of your order with you when you call. I'm a demo and have found SU to be quite consumer friendly. Good luck. Also, was the order shipped directly to you? If so, It is possible that SU made the mistake and forgot to put the stamp set in. However, the fact that your demo is not responding is very bad customer service. I'm sorry!!

The order was not directly shipped to me...Instead she brought me the goods. I got the hostess set (small script), but not my $20 free merchandise (which I put toward my Christmas stamps, Crazy for Christmas.)

You should DEFINATELY call SU to report the Demo. Doesn't seem like good business to me! You are prompted to order the hostess stamp set and free merchandise, so I don't understand how she could have forgotten. That is not right! Let us know how you make out.
Just in case SU! can't help you, try to find out the name of your demo's upline. You can always dump the problem in her lap, and she'll most likely have more experience working directly with SU! than you have. I've fixed a couple of messes for my downline over the years!
I got an e-mail today stating that she still had not ordered my stamps and intended to do it over the weekend. (The e-mail was from Friday)
I went ahead and called SU. The operator was AWESOME! She wouldn't give me any info. about the orders though, only suggested that I formally file the concern with the compliance dept.
I asked if she could confirm whether the order was placed...She told me she couldn't tell me, but strongly suggested I talk to the compliance dept. Reading between the lines, the demo. still hasn't ordered it.
I'll keep you updated.

That just sounds straight up fishy! There's NO WAY she could have ACCIDENTALLY not gotten you your free stuff. The system specifically asks for that. I hope you get your stuff soon.
I got the hostess set (small script), but not my $20 free merchandise (which I put toward my Christmas stamps, Crazy for Christmas.)
So you DID get the hostess set. That's good. But you did NOT get Crazy for Christmas.
Perhaps if her email says that she has put in the order, then she has done just that -- terribly late but not terribly immoral.
It's the part about saying that she did order it and then saying that she did not then saying again that she is ordering that would cause me to worry. This demo may not be trying to cheat you, but she may be just too irresponsible to keep her orders straight.
How do I know this? Because I have that type of personality myself. Tried to sell Avon products years ago and I was always getting things mixed up. Not intentionally. Maybe I have A.D.D.
