I'm having a heck of a time finding an alphabet set (clear stamps or wood mount doesn't matter to me) that has larger letters to use for monogram note cards. I need the letters to be at a minimum 1.5", but really 2-3" would be better. I don't care what brand or if used or new. The only thing that matters is the size and style. I need it to be more of a fancier style.
Does anyone have anything like this, or any suggestions on brands? Everything I'm finding is too small.
Does it have to be a stamp? When doing the wedding invites for a friend of mine, I used a stencil in a lovely scripty font that was around the inch and a half size.

I'm not sure how tall they are (I'm traveling right now) but they're larger than most alphabets. There are also a number of alphabet dies that are large and lovely.

Reason: spacing
Oooh, and speaking of dies, I've used fun foam to make alpha stamps from my dies. Three layers stacked. They don't work forever, but a good long time. Also, the effect of the fun foam's ink to paper isn't the same as rubber or polymer. It's perfect for some projects but not for others, imho.

I haven't been on Splitcoast in awhile, but I received an update e-mail today, and your comment was part of it. I have the 'Ornate Floral Alphabet' set that I would be willing to sell. If you would like to see some photos of it, I would be happy to send...except I forget how to get to the PM part of Splitcoast! Sorry! If you could post here, interested or not, I will watch for your response. I am in Canada...not sure how that would work with shipping. I believe the stamp blocks are 1.5" but I would have to confirm.
Cheers!

Also, in the future and you do lots of crafting, you might think of getting a Brothers Scan and Cut machine rather than paying bunches for dies, etc. which also resize the alphabets, sizes, etc. and comes in different fonts and can buy more font and can make the letters any size Best time to buy this is Black Friday about 50%. I bought the Brothers Scan and Cut 250 but there is a cheaper version which is Brothers Scan and Cut 150 which my friends have. Will be using this machine for quilting as well. I use this almost everyday and a life saver.

I have a full set of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers of 3” uncounted rubber stamps from Club Scrap. I have never found a use for them and was considering selling.

Years ago I had the same idea and got the B-line stencil alpha set-2 inch square clings per letter and they have flourishes on the inside and the Serendipity floral alpha set that have flowers around them. Also 2 inch square. They might vary a bit with the letters-like I might be narrower and M and W wider.
I cant find either right now online. But if you keep an eye out you might see them.
Lily of the Valley had a set with teddy bears I got for kid cards that might fit the bill.
Close to My Heart has Classic Alphabet Dies, 39 dies, 1 1/2" tall, for $89.95. Any Consultant would be happy to help you but if you can't find one, contact me here via SCS.
I bought dies--an inch and 5/8ths by an inch and a quarter. They are fancy and you can cut them out of any paper. Look great! Also bought letter dies the same size. I can't remember where I got them from, but they work great. Just Google large letter or number dies and I think you'll find them. Good luck!
