Any of you know of any other groups or place online that you can go and get card ideas? dont get me wrong I love this place . and come all the time. I just did not know if there were more place out there like this one. ;)
I second that!! (above post)... Start blog hopping. I recommend using a Blog reader (i use Google Reader) and as you hop from blog to blog (i usually go to links listed on someone's side bar) I will add those blogs to my reader... Every day I go to my reader and I check out the new blog posts and it's my daily injection of inspiration!

I generally turn to blogs as well. I will go to a stamp company's blog then look through their DT's blogs, and from there I follow links to other blogs. Sometimes, I'm wondering around blogland for hours and hours. Its kind of like window shopping in a huge mall without the hurting feet. I also check out a lot of scrapbooking sites. A lot of scrapbookers make cards too to use up the scraps (that's how I got started on card making & stamping).
so I just go to stores and look at there blog. am I right on this. sorry I am new to all of this. thanks so much for the help.
A quick introduction to blogs can be through the stores site, a lot of the posters here have blogs and usually a link in their signature line (not me) click on those as well and a way you go

Yes! for example; if you like Papertrey Ink, go to the owner's blog: {capture the moment}
She has all of her team listed on the left (click on their photos) and start hopping. Almost everyone in blog-land links to friends, Design Team buddies, or blogs they read.

To answer the question too - A lot of times if you go directly to a stamp company website, they will have a gallery of their own that you can look at. For example, There She Goes has their own gallery and you can look at the the cards organized by design team member or by stamp set:
I spend almost my whole evening on SCS. I have a laptop and I sit in the living room with my hubby and the TV. I can't see all the cards that are made in a day. I enjoy blogs but in my opinion this is the best place for cards.
Splitcoaststampers has a fabulous gallery here! The inspiration is never ending. And Beate and company do great tutorials here as well.
StampTV.com is another place that you can try for weekly videos, a huge card gallery and lots of creative inspiration.
Splitcoaststampers also has many member companies here that help support this site and lots of them host weekly challenges which will get your creative juices flowing.
And of course, Splitcoast has it's own challenge section here which is amazing!
Blogs are great too!

if I'm using a certain stamp set or designer paper, I always do a google search with that listed for handmade cards, print them off to use. No longer waste my time figuring out card ideas.

Hi Candy! I agree with other who say BLOGS! I definitely visit lots of blogs and follow blog hops of companies I like or participate in. There are lots of inspiration on people's blogs. If you like a certain company, check out their website or find their Design Team and check out their work. disclaimer tho...You may find more and more things you need to own! LOL
I am sure there are other sites similar to SCS tho. Although I personally dont have enough time to find them with being here, keeping up with posting to my own blog, trying to hold classes, working full time and being a divorced mom, there arent enough hours in the day to visit many more.
Rubberstampchat (I think) is one. Stampin' Addicts (all Stampin' Up stuff). I think there is one called The Yellow Canary (or something like that because I got a free Tshirt at CHA for signing up for it but have never even visited it! LOL)
Another large place is Paper Craft Planet. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on CDAC because it's oriented toward digital stamps.
They're both fairly similar to SCS with forums & galleries - just a little different twist!

Twopeasinabucket has a large member gallery of cards and scrapbook layouts: Scrapbooking Ideas and Scrapbook Layouts - Two Peas in a Bucket The card-specific category is here: Gallery Projects - Cards - Two Peas in a Bucket, but I've found that it's actually better just to browse through the "layout" category under the left sidebar - there are a lot of cute cards that get thrown in there along with the scrapbook pages (that don't show up under the "cards" category). Hope that makes sense!
I subscribe to several blogs so any updates automatically come into my email or Google reader.I don't have to go searching for them. But here are a few more places I peek at;
