I've been searching online for dies that produce tags, either a single tag or layered tags. I do a lot of digital stamping, so buying tags already cut doesn't help and the SU punch tags are too small for my needs. And to make things harder I like tags with rounded or scalloped edges. Any suggestions? And thanks in advance!
Stampin' Up! has the Two Tags Bigz Die - one is about 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" and has scallops on one end and the other is a folded type tag that is about 2 1/2" X 4 1/4" open and 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" when folded. It's very nice, I use it for Christmas tags.
Also its a steel rule die so it will cut more than just paper and cardstock. (Think chipboard, cork, thin wood, thin metal)
I love my Holiday Tags Die Set from A Muse Studio. It's three tags a traditional tag with clipped corners, one with a round (think semicircle) top and the third is scalloped. They are 1 5/8 x 2 5/8. I used them on the Easter pencil treat I galleried today. That will give you an idea of the size. Happy tag hunting!
I was at a local scrapbook store today and they had a peg for a set of 2 Hero Arts tag dies. Since the actual dies were sold out, I can't tell you their sizes, sorry.
I am actually making my own right now with SU supplies I have on hand. Using the old school trick of free-handing one snip in one corner. Then taking that template over to the other side to get an identical snip. Then using the whole tag as a template to snip the corners of more pieces of cardstock. Here is my latest project doing this. I'm kind of obsessed with simple tags right now!
