Loving these snow days!
We've been snowed in since Saturday and the kids are on their second day our of school. I have to say that I am LOVING it! I've been stamping all day and don't even want to stop for lunch. Who else is snowed in?
We caught the blizzard Thursday and I didn't leave my corner until Sunday for church! I did shovel out a trail to the "craft hut" and stayed out there for hours on end!! It was great!!!

Hmmm...come on down south and you can box up this snow and take it back with you for the cause. We have a hard time dealing with the snow in the south as it's such a rarity. Personally, I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow as I hate driving in even the littlest bit of snow and ice. I'm a CHICKEN! I have enjoyed this snow though since everything has been shut down for a bit and I could just sit at home and stamp.
No snow here in the Pacific Northwest all winter. But I sure understand what you're talking about, I get more stamping done on snow days than any other.

I love winter weekends where I get to stay home from after work on Friday until Monday morning. Nothing is better on a cold winter weekend than stamping!
Send some snow our way - we need it for the Olympics - warmest January on record!
Sorry for the slight hijack - Piano, did you see how VanOC had to truck a whole bunch of snow from Manning today? My husband passed the trucks on the highway. Apparantly the snow is "whiter" from Manning! And it's not all for the runs. It's to be placed to make the mountain more photogenic.
We only got 2 inches in Chicago but I was stamping away in my basement craft room with two friends all morning and we said the same thing, about how nice and cozy it was with the snow falling outside.
Help .... I want to start a new thread(?) & don't know how -about recycling...
I get quite a bit of this plastic strapping material at work, it looks a little like 1/4" wide ribbon, but bumpy. I would like to know if anyone has used it on a card? Can it be colored? I used it once, but it came off the card, prob. used the wrong adhesive.
Anyone????

I am in Sunny Las Vegas..no snow and plenty of sunshine does have a draw back...NO snow days...lol
Happy stamping ladies...I am from the midwest and I used to love the days I was snowed in and didnt have to go anywhere...
blessings.
I'm actually envious of everyone that's been getting so much snow! I'm in Utah, and we've had far 'whiter' winters than what we're getting. I need some more snowfall to come to cover up all the icky brown that's showing up everywhere as the snow melts!!! Sadly, we don't get snow days here...at least not where I'm at!
I wish that we'd get some snow this year. Last year, we got a BUNCH! But we'd just moved to a newer home and I didn't have my art supplies unpacked then. Now that my studio is all set up, no snow. :(
