Last year I did little ziploc baggies with toppers as the kids' Valentines for school (filled with candy). I need another idea for this year. Who knows of something kinda quick and easy that I can do?? I do have SU's Love Letters and Love Always sets, a Sizzix machine with the 4 sized heart die and the 3 sized tag die.
I am making my girls class valentines similar to the ones in Paper Crafts magazine. You use the sizzix pocket die cut. Put that on a 5" x6" card and fill with candy. You can use any of your stamps to decorate.
It's on page 49 of 2/2005.
I have made about 6 different versions trying to figure out which I like best!
we are making the cute Family Fun pencils - you add ribbon and beads to them and they are pretty cute. My son is in first grade so hopefully the boys will do okay with ribbon/beads/hearts on the pencils still!!! Probably won't be able to do it much longer for him.
Lat year we made cute valentines we folded over a piece of valentine colored paper and punched hearts out of the bottom edge, then inside we had a couple pages one with a valentine dog with a heart the next with Happy Valentines day and that is where he signed his name then we tied it with a matching string and bow at the top in front.
We did the folded envelope card to put it in with some candy

I'm doing the bagalope in my gallery, only with the fish (not the toucan) from Toucan of my love. From start to finish (including cutting and coloring--which by the way goes way faster with an aquapainter than a blender pen) it took my about 3 hours to do approx 100.
Today I got a deal on the conversation heart boxs at .25 each. I made a band to go around it that is stamped. I thought it turned out cute. I'm posting a little late. Hope it helps.

What about a 2-4-6-8 box? I made them with 1/2 a sheet of cardstock and did the sweet talk all over, except in front I stamped the kangaroo from Toucan of my love set and it's sooooooooooooooooo cute!!
I even stamped Sweet Talk hearts on the wide organdy ribbon I
used to tie it shut. Totally charming for kid valentines.
You could tuck little shape erasers in it, or a strip or small size piece of
stickers - that is, instead of candy!!
I love making these, and using a full sheet of cardstock - wheeled and then done the 2-4-6-8 method makes a teacher size valentine box!!

[Have you checked out http://www.familyfun.com ? They have their valentine selection link on the home page. Very cute, fun kiddo valentines!
] These are great! My favorites are the play clay hearts, can easily take a cute stamped tag to kick it up a knotch, and the cupid's arrows! Thanks for the link!
I still like the retired 'animal valentines' with a pixie stick in the aligator's mouth, behind the heart for the hedgehog and dog.[/quote]
I don't know what a 2-4-6-8 box is, but I plan on looking it up on this site. I'm going to stamper's club today and will mention it to my friend and have her work up ideas for it.
We're doing the 2-pocket fancy fold card I found on a thread here 3 wks ago. One pocket is on the front & we're putting stick on earings in it or punching 2 holes & tying a ribbon around a little stretchy beaded bracelett that is sitting in the pocket (found them CHEAP at Target at Christmas). The inside pocket will hold flat candy pack or flat Trident gum pack I found at Big Lots real cheap. The boys will get stamped "matchbooks" w/ flat candy or gum stapled in it.
