A friend at work is going on her 6th month of pregnancy, I'd like to do her birth announcements for her as my gift to her. I've never done one before.. and since I'm just starting with the whole stamping thing, my "collection" is pretty limited.
If you have any examples or ideas for Birth Announcments I'd love to see them.
Hi michelle have you gone to the gallery and on the left side there is a search bar and click on it and type in birth annoucements or baby cards and it should give you some ideas I hope this helps ~~~~good luck and i think that is a very nice gift idea you have for your friend. ~~~~Lori~~~

Thanks. I tried to type in "Birth Announcements" and just "Birth" and nothing came up for the first one, and only a few birthday ones....but I didn't think to type in "Baby" Thanks for the suggestion!!!
Hi there -
I made these for a customer last year...they are double pocket cards and one insert is for the "info" and the smaller is for a picture of the baby.
Good Luck! Baby stuff is so much fun to make!

I would talk to your coworker first to ensure she doesn't already have announcements ordered. If she does then you may want to make her thank you cards instead (for her to send out after the baby shower.)
My SIL asked me to make my nieces announcements. I kept it simple (no stamping) and they turned out ADORABLE. I had her do her footprints and scan them into the computer. I then printed the footprints and matted them and overlayed with the printed vellum which contained all the details. Attached it all with a little no tie bow and they were done.
That's a good idea..but I actually already DID talk to my co-worker to let her know that I'd like to do the anouncements for her.
Can I see a picture of the one you are talking about?
Thanks
God bless,
Michelle

I know you said you were interested in pocket cards-but i wanted to send along 2 cards that I made (not pocket) as birth announcements for friends. The 2nd one I am working on now.
