Default Newsprint vs Classic Alphabet

I already have the classic alphabet stamp set. I like the newsprint (many have used with the collage), but do you think it looks too much like the classic? What would be another good choice in an alphabet stamp set?

I have both and love them! I really like that Newsprint is larger and it reminds me of old typewriter type

For me, they're different enough that I HAD to have both!

Don't ask me. I'm ADDICTED to alphabets. I buy every one I can afford and some I can't. Tee Hee. But really, I would only choose not to buy one if I hadn't gotten other varieties like maybe crazy alphabet or Brushstroke or something different. If you have all that, go for it...

I have them both too. They look like coordinating sets and Newsprint really looks much larger once you have stamped words with it. Love them both and they have such a classic look!

Thanks for asking this question!
I am one who thinks that I NEED all of the alphabets also!

I just "earned" Newsprint Alphabet from my upline for a leadership challenge she gave her downline.

I already own the classic - but it is smaller than I imagined.

I was thinking about also getting simple type with my SAB rewards - but I might be better off just getting another alphabet that is larger to get my collection varied......

I think you need both!

I have both sets and use both of them. I tend to use the Newsprint more but it all depends on how large I need the letters. Like a lot of you, I MUST have many of the alpha set. I also love the new Collage set.

I think we need numbers that match the newsprint set.

I am able to earn a stamp set thru the sell-a-bration promotion and I want to get the "biggest bang for my buck"!!! That is why I thought that I would get an alphabet stamp set. I have classic, brushstroke, and collage. I like the newsprint, all around, and crazy. I like the idea that the newsprint is larger. The classic and brushstroke are very small. Is getting an alphabet stamp set a good idea or should I decide on an actual stamp set?

I guess it depends on what you will use the alphabet set for... I find the Newsprint too large to really use on cards as much as Classic, while I find Classic a little small for scrapbook headers. If I could get any set from the catalog, I'd go for Everyday Flexible Phrases -- the most expensive!

Default deciding on alphabets

I would definately vote for newsprint! Is is perfect for cards, and I make a ton of cards these days. It is also just right for scrapbok pages. It looks great in any color scheme.... it is a GREAT set. I just got simple type for christmas, and am using it alot too, it's look is more informal and cutesy, great for toddler pages, and also matches everyday flexible phrases. I have owned all around alphabet for a year, don't use it as often right now, but it is a great set too.

Maybe somone can help me decide if I should get pure and simple, i know it is the largest alphabet size, but it is worth it if I already have newsprint?

Hope this helps
