Default Opinions on the SU tool kit?

Hi girls,

Just wanted to get some opinions on the SU tool kit from the gals who have it?
Is it worth the money and what is the paperpiecing template (think thats what its called without having to drag out my catty! lol)

TIA

Karen

If you have been stamping awhile and already have these tools, then I say you can pass on the kit. Just find a nice box to put all these things in and viola you have a kit. Now if you do not have these tools, it is great! I love mine.

On page 228 of the current catty, you can buy just the mat pack. Which I think is great for those who have all the other stuff.

the paper piercing pad and template are wonderful. Very useful for the faux stitching technique and for marking were you want to place eyelets and brads.

I totally LOVE IT!!!! I use it for eyelets a lot and the paper piercing poker thingy (I call it the people poker....when they interrupt your stamping) with the grid is just wonderful. Have you seen the faux stiching? It's really easy and cool with the gel pen. I think it's worth the money. If you host a workshop, use the hostess benefits to get it for free. That's what I did.

Oh my gosh, if you don't have it, get it!! You'll use it all the time.

I have found the template and paper poking tool (whatever it's called) to be very nice! I also have had several occasions to use the little plier type of things they have in there. They pick up smaller items than needle nose pliers. If you can afford it...go ahead!

Talking just used mine

I already had the hammer and eyelet tool, but I purchased the tool kit anyway. I like that it's all in one kit with little places to put everything (and it zips!). I gulped when I spent the money last year, but then they are tools and will be with you forever. I just used the "paper piecing" tool for "faux stitching." (You make holes in a pattern, and then connect the dots with a gel pen or marker)
Good luck and happy stamping
