Default Original ScrapBox

Who's got one and can you really put everything in it? I'm on the fence, I want to store everything in one place, no more multiple cupboards and shelves and drawers.. Anyone have the new one with the shelf for the Circuit?

How much weight does the drawers & Shelves hold?

Can the shelves hold Paper and Punches?

I have the original scrapbox and reallly like it. To answer your question about 'really' getting everything into it... well, yes - until you buy more stuff!! Sooooo... now I also have the work box, too. I must admit, though - I'm a 'tool hussy' and a 'paper who_ _' so chances are I'll be adding to my storage "solution".

The customer service is awsome. Hope your DH is a handy man. Getting it together was the hardest part. It's not that hard, we're just not handy.

I have a ScrapBox and I have some pictures posted here:

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

and here:

http://lalattystampnstuff.blogspot.c...r-13-2009.html

I've been stamping for over 5 years now and I can tell you I have a ton of stuff and my ScrapBox still has empty totes. I'm not sure what you mean about the Cricut shelf, but I do store my Cricut inside my ScrapBox and when I want to use it all I need to do is to pull it forward and open it up. There is a place for the cord to go through the back of my ScrapBox that plugs into the wall.

I'm not sure exactly how much weight the shelves hold, but I can tell you that some of my totes are full of cardstock and they are just fine.

Putting my ScrapBox together was pretty easy and my husband isn't handy at all. We just followed the dvd video along with the instructions and we went together just fine.

I have all of my punches in the totes on the right side. My wheels I keep in the small totes on the doors. Trust me when I say, there's plenty of storage!

I am sad to say that my scrapbox is the same model as yours and has began to split in numerous spots on the door. Some of the cracks are over 8 inches long and 1/4 wide not just hair line cracks. I would say there is about ten cracks total covering both doors.

I did contact them and they have wonderful customer service, the best around and my email was quickly answered. They are replacing the doors for me and hopefully I won't have to wait to long. I had to hire someone to construct the scrapbox for me so all that money is wasted as it has to be taken apart and put back together now. Not totally taken apart but still it will take some time. I just never expected to see that nice wood split in so many places. They did say the newer models are being constructed different so that they are hoping to avoid that problem, so I was not the only one who had this problem.
