I have made my own Designer Series Papers and would love to see what you can do with them. Please make a project and post it back to this thread. I have never tried to attach to a thread before I hope this works. Remember that the colors may vary from printer to printer and the if you are running out of ink or not. This is a total experiment and might not work. Good Luck & Enjoy.
Here is another one. I'll try to post my sample. If it doesn't work check in my albums for my sample. Oh no. I don't know if I got the right one. Well here goes.
I'll give it a shot. I may not have any ink left in my printer afterwards but I'll try it.
I will come back and post what I make with it later.
It's lovely, the cards are great too! I'm in the same position with my printer though...running on empty. I'm going to subscribe to the thread though so I can find it again when I get new cartridges. Great job with the paper!
subscribing, I don't have enough ink. DH gets paid today, perhaps we can go and buy 2 ink cartridges. I love the look of the paper, it is so rich and regal.
They are pretty. I just printed them. Mine seem a bit more green than yours look on the screen - I like the kind of dusky blue look of yours. But I also like the colors I got. I used "normal" print on GP110 cs.
I am not sure I have time to do samples for a while.
In the meantime, just FYI - mine came out 6.5 x7.5.

Mine were a richer deeper green also. I think my flash may have washed the picture out. The colors may vary from printer to printer also. If your printer is running out of ink in one color it will affect it too. I had a red & green one I was going to use for a Christmas project. I was running out of ink in a certain color and it came out pink & blue. I still liked it. I just couldn't use it for Christmas. As far as the size goes, that depends on the program you use, I think. I print out a 8 1/2 by 11 but it has a white border. There are programs or printers that do borderless I don't have that capability (I don't think). I do have programs that I can print it at different sizes though. So I have even printed it out as a card front size. When you have time I would love to see what you do with it.
What a great idea, I would love to try! I don't have a printer at home right now, but I responding to subscribe. I can print it out later in the week and then I will post my result.
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Bonnie, this worked beautifully. It's gorgeous paper. Cant wait to print some! It's so gracious of you to share your talents with SCS! Thanks so much. I'll be sure to link my card back here when it's uploaded.

Hi Bonnie
Sorry it took me so long to make a card using your paper. I don't have a printer at home and it took me a while to get my cardstock to a color printer I could use. I made a couple of great cards with your paper, here they are
Bonnie - FABULOUS job on your paper! I love the look. My ink is running out so mine printed in blue, which I must say doesn't look to bad! LOL The pearls look 3d on this paper. I will try and get a card done with the blue version and let you see it! How did you do this???

I made one that I was going to use for Christmas one time. My ink was running out. It was suppose to be red & green. It came out blue & pink. Like you said it didn't look bad, I just couldn't use it for my Christmas card. I can't wait to see what you come up with and the color. How I did it..... the quick version. Take a piece of a picture and and flip it so it matches and repeats. Basically a kaleidoscope. Use different angles to get different looks. I have a couple that kind of shows it that if I can find them I'll try to post it here, but I may not be able to do it till fall because I'm at my summer place. I may have it on my laptop I'll have to see. I'll be wait to see your project.
this is all new to me. Do you print this on regular cardstock or ?
You can print it on whatever kind of white paper you want. I have used both cardstock and printer paper. It just depends on how you want to use it. The printer paper is lighter so it is more like a lot of DSP's. It's probably cheaper too. I have used glossy on some too. That's another look. If you use glossy be carefully it might dry a little slower. I haven't tried this yet because my printer is out of ink and the funds aren't there right now to get more, but I think you could print on both sides to get the double sided paper. You may have to use a thicker paper in case it bleeds, I don't know. I have more that match these I will try to find them and post more later if anyone wants to try.
Bonnie - well, my card (with your paper) covered Color Challenge 217. Please note, I said my green ink was low when I printed out your paper, so your paper printed a gorgeous BLUE! And check it out! I think it worked very well with Brilliant Blue! Surprise Surprise!
Wow. Bonnie, this is pretty cool. Did I miss you giving us a hint into how you did this? It looks like a kaleidescope--very enthralling.
My printer is completely out of ALL ink, and neither my husband nor I will be getting paid any time in the known future, so I'll just enjoy your beautiful creations on-screen.
