My Frosted Flakes card - Frosted Flakes by Impress5524 at Splitcoaststampers - has 5669 views, 62 comments and was favorited 358 times. That kind of response is unusual for me - I am shocked! Thanks for making me think of my gallery - I must get more uploaded...it's been awhile.
I agree with willosmama...my highest views are not always what I think is good...and I wonder why some get so many views.
I also think that the longer something stays in the gallery, the more views you get on it. My older ones keep creeping up in numbers. I have 9 cards with anywhere from 1035 to 1881 views from June 06 or earlier. I quit posting for a while and have just started up again in the past year. I have a 1314 and a 1395 from last summer. Then I have one with almost 1100 from just a couple of weeks ago.
So what do you think affects high numbers of views? My thoughts:
...length of time in the gallery
...card made for a challenge
...photograph is good (and the title too) and draws people to open it up to see more detail
...new tools, embossing folder, etc
How funny -- I never even looked at that line before! I have one card with 2209 and a runner up with 1011 views. Both cards are done with a Christmas set called Wondrous Gift -- must have been searched and viewed at Christmas time. WOW!

Isn't is weird how the stuff we think so little of sometimes someone else finds to be such a source of inspiration???
it seems that all of my faves are never anyone else's, while the ones i like the least- seem to be the ones that others like.
I'm the same way, AJ. My personal favorites will often be the ones that get few hits or comments and one I might not really like how it turned out is often a favorite. Wonder what this says about my taste . . . ;)
I think it's the highest in part because it was an early Christmas card in September when a lot of really smart SCSers are well into Christmas card making (usually NOT me!).
Also, it was a new owl stamp by Inkadinkado - owls and birds at the height of popularity!!
I was very pleased though to see that the second highest, with 1285 views, is one I really love and I made it only a few months after I started cardmaking!!
Of course... that is a factor in why it has so many views, LOL!! Some of mine have a lot of views based purely on longevity. Some of my best work has been recent and the views are very, very, very small.
It's funny, but when I first started stamping and came to SCS just over two years ago, I would marvel at the fact that after posting a card, within half an hour, a hundred people or more might have seen it!! That was mind-boggling then. . . a miracle now LOL!! ;)
OK - I went to check, and I got instant validation. I remember cutting all 40 of these things out (in December, no less!). I'm so glad these cards got some love! LOL! 40 Freaky Pigs!
Wow, I'm am a major slacker at uploading my cards! This is my highest viewed card Bday Card 2 by Merri78 at Splitcoaststampers I don't know why...it's pretty simple and my sentiment is crooked. It's been in for a while and pink and brown is a really pretty color combo. That's all I can come up with. Oh and it has been viewed 1,494 times. Weee!
8351 for one of my Christmas cards. It was a clean and simple card and I know a lot of Demos used it for classes this year. It's 2 or 3 pages back into my gallery so it's been up a while too Lovely Christmas Trees

Fun thread!!
THIS is mine with 5,960 and it was very fun to look at these old cards that popped up at the top...now most have less than 100 views but they still make me happy and it's all about me
This is the one! With 1573 views, 2 comments, fav'd 17 times. I think it was because it was amongst the first ones posted with this set. Or maybe it's the muted colors or maybe it's because the glare on the envelope distorted it and people were hoping to get a better look. ;) Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Runner Up- My altered domino magnets. 1382 views, 4 comments, fav-d 17
They are bright and colorful. I had a GREAT time making them. I made them all in one session over maybe 6 hours. Forums at Splitcoaststampers

I think maybe the crayon resist was just coming into popularity at the time. Sadly, I really can't remember much about the card at all...it's just a no-frills, basic card. Maybe because it was done on regular paper, not glossy, and that prompted people to look...
What a fun question. I couldn't believe it when I went back and looked at mine and this one had 749 views and was favorited 21 times! I know it is not as many as a lot of the other posts in this thread, but I have only been uploading cards for a few months...
