Some of those sets could still be in the new catalog. Like I am hoping Backyard BBQ is in there. I can dream at least.

Mixed bouquet for me too. That was out before the mini stuff not making it announcement. It was also before I found SCS. I figured I would wait and see if it made the big catalog. Now I know, if I want something in the mini, buy it now! I also wish I had gotten the hostess set Art of Life, and one of the quote sets - maybe Sage Advice.:???:

When the new catty arrives I will be going right to the alpha section to see if Tall Tales is there...if it is, I will order it, and pet it, and love it...and never let it go!

Also Script background still gives me fits...how did I pass that one by???

Off to cry over Tall Tales yet again!

LOL! I totally feel the same way about Tall Tales! Everytime I see a card or scrapbook page uploaded using it I get so bummed I don't have it!!!!!!

I love that John Lennon quote stamp, but like you I couldn't justify spending $20 just to get my hands on that one stamp... So I tried to look for it being sold by itself on ebay, and it was... for $15. At which point I decided that was dumb because for $5 more I could get the whole set.... but again didn't want to spend $20 for just one stamp.... and so the cycle went round and round and round.... lol!

Needless to say I never ended up with the thing!

That beautiful butterfly set! I hadn't been into SU that long before that one retired last year. It is so beauiful! Fortunately my GF does have this set, but she doesn't live that close!

In the last retired list, there was a outdoors set(can't remember the name) that had camping gear. I had just started stamping and i could afford to get the set because i needed to build my basic supplies first. My Dh and I are camping buffs and I wish I could have got that set....sigh...

For me there were several, and some I managed to find along the way....

* For the Love of Chocolate
* Godspeed
* Snow Globe (found it!)
* Just Flying By (found it!)
* Button Bear (found it!)
* Bow Bear (found it!)
* Button/Bow Accessories (found it!)
* Stella Stamper (found it!)
* Gingerbread House the one that retired in 2002-2003 (found it!)

Now if I could only get the last 2 (then of course I would make a new wish list of retired items....lol....)

Antique background, Pretty Peacocks and Fairies

I'm sure there are several on this list I'll wish for later. I'm never satisfied, so at some point I have to just make myself quit.

So, you could say those two stamps got me interested in stamping. Unfortunately, both were already retired. I did get Garden Pleasures off ebay, but have been unable to swing Sketches. Living in hope though.......

Borderline....it was one of the mini catalog sets a couple catalogs ago. Didn't really want it until Noteworthy (SAB set) came out and someone combined the two sets and made a fabulous card. Naturally at that point in time, Borderline was not available! ARGG!

wow $90.00 for monkey business I can sell my set too then.ONLY KIDDIN .
I loive my little monkeys,look sjust like curious george.he's so cute.when my daughter was little I had to get her one.it was a christmas present I had hidden under our bed.then because I couldn't wait for christmas she was only a baby at the time.After my hb was off to work I would take it out and let her play with it.then when she fell asleep I would put it back under there until the next day.so bad.But the good thing is she loved the monkey even more come christmas morning.

More Kids at Play was retired before I got into stamping (and before I had kids). I have seen it on ebay and am trying to get me one.

MIxed Bouquet and the sayings (I guess that's Mixed Greetings) and the wheel that goes with it. Isn't there still a chance that at least the MB set could make the catalog? It was in a mini that went from May-August, so technically it was out after the new catalog came out. I know they said not many from the mini would make it, but wouldn't it at least be eligible?

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Ride On...that set is going for a lot of money on eBay. I saw one go for $51 and the last one I checked on went for $36. It's a 2 piece set that sold for $11.95!!
