Default SU catalog favor . . .

I have a favor to ask for those of you with older Stampin' Up catalogs that you are not using. If possible, would you check out this website, see what he does not have, and consider sending him what he needs to fill the blanks?
Retired Catalogs - Stampin-Style

Normally I do not ask for favors or freebies from fellow SCS members but I feel compelled to in this case. His page is a great resource to all of us who want to see and/or research older sets. Helping him to fill in the blanks is really helping all of us.

My favor is somewhat selfish, too. I had an old 1996-1997 catalog on my shelf and promised it to this gentleman. I sent it with tracking, which did no good. The post office delivered it to the wrong address and it has not turned up. He was disappointed, which makes me feel terrible. If I can help him fill just one spot on his page I'd feel a little less guilty about the mishap.

If you have a catalog that fits the bill please contact me and I will tell you where to send it.

Looks like he needs:
2007 Summer Mini
2001 Holiday Mini
2001 Sale-A-Bration
2000 Sale-A-Bration
1999 Summer Supplement
1999 Spring Supplement
1998 Winter Supplement
1998 Holiday Supplement
1998 Summer Supplement
Anything older than the 1997 catalog

I thought I could help. I went thru all my mini catalogs and found none of those he needs. I did find a 1999 holiday supplement (7 pages) and a 1999 Catalog Supplement (23 pages) That's the oldest I found in my mini catalogs. I didn't have the 2007 summer mini either or 2000 or 2001 either. Weird...Hope someone can help.Maybe there isn't any catalogs for those years.

Thanks for trying. Hopefully one day he will be able to fill in the older catalogs. I've had great fun looking through his online pages to find older sets to add to my wishlist.

I had a 2007 summer mini, but it got "gifted" in The Big Purge before I moved last fall. All I have left is the current and just retired catalogs, or I'd certainly help!

I sent an EM to my friend whose friend is a SU demo to forward in case she has any for him.

I have bookmarked it and think it is very valuable resource for not only the SU community but all of us-like here in the buy and sell...tends to just be listed as the year and name and as I have no contact with SU, I have no idea what the set is. I can use this to look it up. In fact I would suggest sellers to provide the link in their post.

I thought for sure I could help. I've been doing this forever and have so many old ones, but nothing that he needs. Sorry!

If you want to scan the cover and the interior pages in .pdf format, you can email it to him at: [email protected]

If you want to send him a hard copy, PM me and I'll give you a mailing address.

Here is his site, where you can see what he does have: http://stampin-style.typepad.com/sta...d-and-new

Many of the sets have an index card stickied as the first card in their gallery here. That's always my first point for checking if I'm looking through BST. Of course that only holds true from 2003/4 when SCS started, only some older sets have one. We always need volunteers to help fill the gaps in this project ;-). See the link in my signature!!
The easiest way to find the gallery alphabetical lisings listings is to go to the Gallery home page and down to the SU section.
