I quite like the catalogue. I will say the layout isn't my favourite though. I definitely have a decent sized wish list. There are 4 new sets that are must haves for me and 10 returning ones that are must haves.

I focus on the returning stamps because in my mind I am at greater risk of not being able to get them at the end of the year. I used the same strategy last year and I was able to get everything I wanted from the retired list and not have to buy too much in one shot because I focussed my shopping throughout the year.

It takes me a while to warm up to a stamp set... I need to wait and watch and see how it's used before I can determine if it'll fit for my style. The ones already on my must have lists are the ones I know without looking I can and will use.

So for me, the catalogue is still great, though I don't love the layout/design and space wasted on things like Poject Life, etc.

There are plenty of people who like this catalog!!

I had my new catalog Open House on Monday, and my customers all liked the catalog. They've been ordering a good bit, which shows they really like the products.

I went to my demo's catalog open house on Saturday and I do like the catalog, although I am not a fan of the layout. There are some stamp sets I would like to order but I mostly order consumables, i.e. cardstock, ribbon and ink. The samples in the catalog are lovely and a great source of inspiration.

My demo just sent me the catalog, and I like it. I'm not sure about the layout; it is different, but I guess I don't have strong feelings either way. I like many of the card samples - most are clean and simple, which is my style, so for me the card samples are great!

I found plenty to like in the catalog, though I probably won't buy many actual stamps. I have a ton of stamps, and I'm becoming much more selective in what I buy. I like several of the stamp sets, but many are just too close to something that I already have. I will buy some of the new in color paper and stamp pads, and I will buy some other consumables. I also like some of the embossing folders, dies and punches.

My demo dropped mine off today. I haven't had time to take a really thorough look, but I saw a few sets that I really want to get, especially from about page 155 on. I also have a pretty decent sized wish list left over from last year, so I'll definitely be spending some money this year.

I'm also in the camp that doesn't like the layout of the catalog, I really prefer stamps sets in a certain catagory to be together, like all alpha sets together, flower sets together, etc. It seems like they're jumping all over the place. Also don't like the fact that there are so few card samples, I don't make 3D projects like treat bags and boxes at all, so I was disappointed in that respect. But I am happy with the products offered, and I think I'm going to have a bigger wish list this year than I have in the last few years put together. Which is good because unlike the last couple years, I really like a couple of the hostess sets as well.

The blendabilities would definitely interest me, however, I am on such a limited budget that they are not feasible. I was surprised they did not have more colorable sets in view of the major new alcohol markers product reveal. This is my least favorite catalog since that one when they went through their last major style revision and everything in the catalog was all circles, poorly done line drawings and doodlie type stuff. (Does anyone remember that one?) This one is definitely better than that one.
I feel the same way.

I got my new catalog. I can't say I was wowed. I have a lot of Stampin Up, so I either already own many of the stamps or they look like something I already have. I may buy a couple of dies. Right now I am into the Julia Netting Dolls stamps. Can't get enough of them.

I have flagged a few pages. I think the photopolymer stamps are very reasonably priced. I also like some of the new alcohol marker sets. Maybe I will make a purchase if/when there is free shipping or another promotion.

See that is one of the things I do NOT like - I think the photopolymer is greatly overpriced. And frankly, I don't care for the art work in those sets. I can get much nicer, more affordable, photopolymer sets, that are equally good quality, from my local stamp store.

The alcohol markers are a decent price, but I do think they are too late to catch that market. I read they are waiting to release them due to fears that they won't have enough supply to meet demand; I just hope they don't find themselves in the opposite situation, having dove in to create this big supply for which there's no real market.

That's interesting rollyfan, most of my local big box craft stores only have acrylic (not photopolymer) stamps, and I've not been impressed with their quality
