As a demonstrator who happens to love Christmas this catalog has completely and totally WOWed me. More than any other holiday catalog to date, and I've been a customer/demo for 15 years.
What really got me though was the DSP. I love ALL of it in this catalog and I already pre-ordered half of it.
And the Halloween Suite. I'm rarely drawn to the Halloween stuff and I bought the entire Spooktacular Bash Suite. The coffin treat noses are to die for! They fit in my hand with a tad over an inch to spare (I have long fingers). Easily big enough to put a treat size candy pouch and a small bouncy ball, tiny toy. I will be ordering many more come September!
And while there are some kind of rehashed sets in the catalog, there are plenty of fresh designs.
I also want to bring attention to the very last set on the very last page. $3 from each set sold is being donated to mental health organizations world wide. Even though it's not really my style I'm going to buy it and use it to make cards to sell and then will donate money from the card sales to one of my local mental health organizations.
Anyhow, I'm going to go play with my new goodies so I can share in my gallery. TTFN!
I so agree with the WOW factor in this Holiday Mini! I've been stamping with SU products for over 20 years, and only recently branched out to a couple other brands. Usually, because I have so many SU stamps, anything new is similar to what I already own. That being said, my heart actually leaped when I saw the Nature's Beauty set in this catalog, with the penguins a close second! SU does realistic wildlife like no one else and I know I will use those often. Most of the cards I've been making lately go to a fundraiser for our National Parks, so I'm always on the lookout for wildlife. Aside from those, I think the black dimensionals are a must have, and the coffin treat boxes are super cute. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a die in the next big catalog! Off to check out your gallery for some more sneak peeks!
My holiday catalog stuff came today and I am in love! I got the Let It Snow embellishment kit and it has tiny felt snowballs! I am imagining a shaker card, like a blizzard with the snowmen stamped in the shaker frame.
I was able to view the .pdf and saw a lot I loved! My print copy was in today's mail and I still love a lot (pretty much all the things with copper, some ribbon, papers and stamps.)
Nope. I have way too many Christmas stamps and dies that rarely get used. I love some of the papers. It's just too easy to keep buying more of the same so I am going to take a pass on most of the items in the Holiday Catty too.
I must be the only one to say "pass", on this catty.
No you aren’t the only one. I have seen it online and there isn’t anything I just have to have. I possess so many Christmas sets that I only get to use once a year and I love them, so I will use what I have. And I’m not a fan of Halloween so nothing there either.
I'm pretty excited about the black dimensionals..........! I've had black pop dots for years and use them as much as the white ones but like the thickness of the dimensionals more than any thing else........I will be stocking up just in case they aren't in the regular catty next year.
I must be the only one to say "pass", on this catty.
I was also under-whelmed. Likely the only thing I'll get is the Nature's Beauty stamp set -- love this one and the fact that it supports mental health organizations.
Really the only other one I even looked at twice was the Penguins.
I should add, though, that the DSP looks really nice (not in the actual catalog but on videos I've watched) and if I wasn't swimming in holiday paper I would be considering some of these!
