Does SU have a "suggestion box" where we can email them? I really, really, really, really miss the ink spots. It would be a dream come true to have them return with the new "smooshy" pads!!!! I have a MISTI and the smaller pads are soooooooooo much easier to use with it. I get a ton of ink everywhere with the regular pads. My friends and I wanted to start a campaign to beg for the return of the spots!!!!!
Thanks for this link! I just sent a note asking SU to consider offering all stamp sets in a wood mount option. You guessed it, I'm a wood mount only stamper. And since I was already making a suggestion, I took the opportunity to ask that they bring back Handsome Hunter. I miss that card stock, especially for use with wildlife type theme cards. :-)
I know this doesn't help if people want to buy the ink spots by themselves, but the My Paper Pumpkin boxes have an ink spot or sometimes two in them each month for the project. I've been collecting them and hoarding them.......;) I love ink spots too!!!! And based on this, they still could offer them again at some point since they do have them in the MPP kits!!!

Question: Are the spots in the MPP kits the "old" style pad or the new??? You are right, they manufacture them for the kits why not do a set of them with the NEW pads????? Arrrrrrgggghhhhh .... I sooooooooo want them because I will not use any other paper but SU's. I want ink to match!!!!!!!
I sent my email in! I've never had any ink spots, but I'd get them in a heartbeat! There's only so much money in the craft budget, and I want to get full sized pads of colors I love and not waste dollars I could use for new stamps...or DSP...or embellishments...or...? LOL!

The issue could be they would lose money. I would buy ink spots quicker than full pads. However I'd probably buy ink spots on colors I wouldn't normally buy. When new in colors come out, I always buy the set of markers but I only buy the ink pads of my favorites. I would buy spots of those other new in colors I'm not crazy about...so maybe they wouldn't lose money. But you have those who would only buy the spots.
I think someone (maybe sue or the frugal crafter) did a tutorial on Making your own with little plastic jewelry cases.
I sent my request off, too- I still long for the return of the ink spots! Also added a request that SU do something to help the "clear" stamps adhere better to the acrylic blocks. Cling stamps from other companies do...just sayin'...;)
Also....I really wish they would sell the marker holder EMPTY! It is such a great size holder and when you get all the in color markers....well, you don't have a place as nice and compact as their holder.
I have seen the Spectrum Noir holder, but it is much larger of course.
