Default Ted, other male stampers, anyone.....HELP!

I was just making a b-day card for a party that my 8yo son is going to today (nothing like waiting 'til the last minute, right? ;)). And I discovered that I have VERY few stamps that can be used for boys/men.

I have the basics like stars and football/baseball/basketball/soccer ball. But what are some other nice stamp sets that I can use for "boy" stuff??? I'm looking at the kind of mod set from Waltzing Mouse but I need a few more than just that.

Any suggestions? I prefer unmounted/photopolymer stamps for storage purposes. Many thanks!!!

I REALLY sympathise with your dilemma! All of the junior members in our family are boys! My Son also attends a special school and every one of his classmates is a boy! Needless to say I NEVER buy girly stamps, colours, or stash!

The sets below are a few of my "go to" stamps when I need a boy card. Woodware have a great range of themes including trucks, racing cars, more pirates, wizards, Knights & Castles, dinosaurs and loads more depending on the age and interest of the little chap you are making for. I really love how well these clear stamps stamp! Not all acrylic stamps are equal but I have always got a great image first and every time!

I hope all of this gives you a few ideas and happy stamping!

Kitchen Sink Stamps has a few that can easily be made into male stamps. They're non-gender specific.

Animals
Sports & Recreation
The Bunch O'Balloons is great and so is Multi-Step Gift
Those are just a few examples.

I like all kinds of whimsical dog stamps for little boy cards, and big boys, too.

I used a cute dog stamp recently on a BD card for my 20 year old grandson, Happy Birthday on the front, and inside printed on my computer, "In honor of your birthday, a tail is being wagged in your honor."

For a younger boy, you could say Happy Birthday, and inside "Have a TerRUFFic Birthday!"

Here is a card using one of my favorite dog sets, from Anna Wight for Whippersnapper. There are several great dogs in this set that are very versatile.

Hi Deb -- Do you know the Changito the Monkey sets by Stampendous? I have this one: Changito Pirate Clear Stamps (4001252) and use it for my husband's little nephews. There's a bunch of different themes, like outer space and "hanging around." I got it at Mikes...

I often use a bunch of balloons - there are lots of brands out there, eg: Stampendous, PB etc. I just finished a couple of cards yesterday using balloons and will upload to my gallery in the next few days. I also like to use Monsters and Robots - again there are quite a lot of brands out there. Plus I use dinosaurs, eg: SU Prehistoric Pals. It is worth checking out Pink Gem Designs who have clear and digital boy stamps - Max and Jack boy images, plus Visible Images have some great car stamps including a Mini which I use alot (click on the Transport section to find them). My other go-to stamps are PB dogs eg: For you, Good Boy, Fly away (boy with plane and dog), 1st pick (dog playing baseball), Fetch, Where's Dinner, Party March (dog playing a trombone) and In the doghouse. I would add links, but I am not sure if I am allowed and my post might get deleted. If you use your fav search engine, you should be able to find them. Hope this helps!
