I was wondering if any of you could share projects you've made to pass out to your trick-or-treaters. I've been trying to search the gallery and am having a really hard time finding these types of project all in one place.
Thanks so much!
I have a few in my gallery -- Here's the link for the album they are in; check out the second row of photos
I think the year before my daughter was in a smaller classroom and I made cookies or something, and then just put some treats and pencils in little plastic bags with a ribbon or a tag. The school she was in at the time only wanted "Fall-themed" rather than Halloween.
Thanks for sharing Nancy. You had some great looking projects there!
And thanks to you too Judi. Duh. I didn't think to enter "halloween treats". I tried "candy", "trick-or-treats" etc.
This is a treat bag and tag I made for this year. I also have one I made last year, I will look it up. You can find step by step instructions on my blog here --->
You know what I've been thinking about making... those super cute coffins. I've seen some in the gallery and I know scor-pal has some instructions in one of their e-zines. Maybe this week...
These are not for Trick or Treaters (I won't be home on Halloween -- I'll be at Markie's Mom's stamping retreat!), but I'm giving these to my co-workers at Halloween.
ok, I'm guessing the match boxes are in the SCS techniques or maybe it's a big shot die (couldn't figure out what you used the big shot for)? I don't have the SU! punch, but I have the similiar Nestabilities die, do you think that would work?

The matchboxes are made from the Matchbox die used in the BigShot. If you don't have the BigShot or Matchbox die, this thread has instructions for many sizes of Nugget Boxes.
Here is a cute one and I think it prints out two boxes per 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of CS: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
very easy to make and put together too!

I was wondering that, thank you. Maybe I can figure one out on my own or it's possible my mom might have that die. Thank you for the nugget thread too, that will help a lot!

So you print the template? Is it a lot of cutting or not too bad because of straight lines. They really are adorable and I'm pretty sure I have that stamp set.
The Martha Stewart website had a printable coffin box template last year. I printed it out and tried it. It was cute, the perfect size to fill with some candy. Not sure if it is still on her website.

I saw that episode!! I love watching the Martha Stewart show

I havn't read these all but I like the peppermint patties sandwiched with the scallop circle punch. They are super easy and still in the orig packaging so parents won't have to worry about food safety!
