There was a weird glitch like this a week or two ago, when they were making the server switch. I have about 30 pages of favorites (on top of the thousands of individual images I have saved to my hard drive since discovering SCS last April), and would hate to lose them so I tried to download them using the button near the top of the page. That seemed to take forever, and finally I got a message that there was too much data. When my favorites section was smaller I was able to download them and a ZIP file was automatically created, but I couldn't open it.
I've since started creating Word files containing the picture from my favorites and the recipe. If you do the text selection right, it comes up in a table when you go to paste it. You have to go farther than the end of the recipe text, but not into the next block. Sometimes you get a nested table, but it's easy to convert them till you only have a single one. This process has taken a while because I can only do a little at a time, but at least if the favorites section really does crash and disappear I have a backup.
