Default Whoever you are, thank you!

I looked and couldn't find a thread I read a while ago where someone said they use the padded envelopes for cutting intricate dies. This little tip has completely changed my crafting life. I used to get so frustrated when a die with details wouldn't cut out all the way. I now save all my incoming padded envelopes, cut them and use with intricate dies. What a great tip, so whoever recommended this, thank you, thank you!

I tried searching the forums and couldn’t find it either, but could you please elaborate on the technique? Are you adding a layer of the envelope to your cutting sandwich and does that go under the paper? I’m intrigued and can’t wait to try!

Unlike a lot of people, I place my die cut-side down. So my sandwich is the plate, the bubble envelope, the paper, the die, the top plate. Hope that makes sense!

I had not heard of this. I will keep it in mind! thanks! How many times can you use the piece of bubble before it flattens and is not good anymore?
