Did your day get thrown off as much as mine? Oh, I managed to go on. I went to the family wedding that I may have been late for if SCS had been up. But the day just wasn't the same. It made me think that this place really deserves my support! I'm so glad I'm a member. (no one set me up to this, I promise.)
Can anyone else come up with good reasons to join? Come on now, I know there are people out there funnier than I.
Arin I couldn't have said it better. I was in a total tailspin when I couldn't get on yesterday. But then again I did actually stamp too!
Daven and Scott have worked wonders for us the last few days. If you aren't a Fan Club Member by now, sign up to show SCS how much you truly appreciate them.
For everything SCS does for us, a Fan Club Membership is a small price to pay! It's worth every single penny! I'm getting ready to renew mine this week!
It's the best money I ever spent. Cancel one of your magazine subscriptions and join the fan club!! You know there are more betterer samples here than in any magazine - and wait till you see the DD gallery :mrgreen:
I LOVE the DD galleries... I'm on the site night and day so I have to be a memeber, I'd feel too guilty about not being a member with the amount of time I spend on the site!
well worth the small amount of money - I definitely feel displaced when I don't have access! It has become a normal part of my day!!! Thnaks for everything SCS!!!!
the thing I did not realize I would like so much is the instant uploads and the sunday uploads, I love being able to upload my pictures and not waiting for approval. I did not think that would matter to me, but that is one of the things I like the best to be honest!

So true..I too was one of the people who felt guilty not being a fan club member because of how much time I spent on here. I took the plunge and am wondering now how to survive the downtime between the move from CT to NY...

I was dying all day with out my SCS fix!!!!!!!!!!
Plus some of my favorite blogs are SCS blogs (mine included) and they are still down. I felt shut off from the world!
Even when Im SUPER busy I pop in too many times to count.
This site totally rocks. I have supported it from the moment I found out there was a member ship. I joined cause I felt just ONE day of gallery viewing was worth the YEAR membership fee! You can also do a 6 month membership I believe.
I dont really even buy magazines any more.
This site is amazing You can get any question answered ANY time day or night. Plus you are in on all the BESTEST trends and places to get enabled from LOL!
Not to mention the FABULOUS people here.
I think if you are here daily for one reason or another and gain ANY info from this place its well worth supporting it.

I was having anxiety attacks and hyperventilating because I couldn't get on. I kept thinking the same things your did Arin, was it my computer, did I get kicked off SCS for some unknow reason. I was on the verge of calling a friend of mine in Texas who is one of the moderators and ask her to call a higher up to tell them to let me back in. Finally last night, I got back on here. Thank goodness. I go into total panic mode when this site shuts down. I don't think anything else has ever affected me that way.

. . . . .When you're sitting in a hotel room, with FREE internet, just killing time (like 8 hours!!) waiting to go to the airport and SCS was down.
I'd get up, go pack a couple of things . . . go back and check SCS . . . put on a heavy sigh . . . go pack some more . . . go check again . . . grumble a bit to my husband cuz he thinks I'm upset with him LOL . . . go pack more . . . go check again . . . go rearrange my suitcase . . . check again . . . go for breakfast . . . . . (yup, my day starts stupidly early. I blame it on my mother for not allowing me to sleep in as a child) . . . come back check again . . . unk . . . have another shower . . . check again . . .you get the picture?
I'm really not sure who suffered more . . . myself or my husband LOL
As soon as I'm moved and settled, I'll be all over the fan club like a fat kid on a smartie!

After yesterday's outage I realized how dear this site has become to me! I am now a fan club member as of around midnight last night! *sniff* I love my SCS!
Arin your post was awesome!! A day without SCS is a day without...... ummmm...... I don't know, there is NO comparison.
I don't know if I actaully spent more time checking to see if it was back online that I normally do just checking it... KWIM?
As for being a SCS fan club member... the benefits of instant uploads and Sunday uploads make it worth it.... of course the DD gallery is fantastic too (of course I'm gonna say that ;) ). If you think about it, it's only $2.08 per month to join the fan club - I can usually find more that that rattling around in the bottom of my purse!
I am just glad it is back up now! I don't spend a lot of time online but when i am online it is on SCS!
I finally broke down and became a fan club member and it is the best money I have spent. The Fan Club/DD gallery is amazing and inspiring. If you haven't done it yet- you should! You have NO idea what you are missing!!
