Great thread, thanks for starting it! My ideas are more frugal than creative, but I cut up blister packaging and use it to layer on cards sometimes. I use StazOn to stamp on it, and place it above another stamped layer. I also have been known to save special ribbon from gifts and use it on cards.
OK, I didn't get it, is it bubble wrap? If so, do you use it in place of pop dots? Or am I really not getting what you mean?
My favorite things to make are simply paper flowers - there are a million different kinds but my favorite is punching out pieces of designer paper with a scallop circle punch, putting a brad through them and then wadding them up around that brad and unfolding them. Then I cover the brad with a button (glue dotted on). They are a million places but Dawn McVey has a great tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St6YiqoJOhA
ohh thank you for the tutorial, I love youtube videos.

I'm not exactly sure what she means either but I LOVE putting acrylic pain on bubble wrap and then stamping on paper with it - I've done it on a scrapbook page before! It's the 2nd LO on this blog post (over 2 years old) - the polka dots in the background are done using that technique and I ripped apart a piece of cardboard and inked it up with acrylic paint to make the stripes. It was all about going green - a challenge on a website that is now defunct.
