OK Ladies, so what are we in the mood for? Newer Occasions Mini/Big Catty stamps, Spring, Easter, retired favorites, technique heavy, creative folds? Are you feeling like me, sorta sick of Christmas and Valentine's Day, not ready for Halloween or Thanksgiving or somewhere in between?
Help me get my juices flowing, please? Vintage, mod, or a little bit odd? The only thing I can say for sure is I cannot seem to grasp the concept of CAS! LOL What do you want to add to your stash?
Danyelle
I am up for any type of card. I would like to stay away from holiday cards as I have enough around the house. I think everyone can use birthday cards and thinking of you cards. Dig out your old flower stamps.... I can tell you that my card has flowers on them.

Yeah, I was thinking we are all probably burned out on the holidays. Unconventional humor is my thing, but I don't want to get too carried away. Hmmm...flowers?
Hey Lisa,
If you have anymore envelopes, I will buy a box. Looking forward to the swap. Just finished cutting stuff out. Now have to put in baggies. Almost ready. YAAAA!!!
Ladies
I have to share with you.... Lisa and I had the best weekend down the Ocean Hon.... there were so many vendors and we got some really great stamps, but we will share them in November. We also saw some of our shoebox buddies: Mary, Lynn, Bev, met some new friends and sorry that we missed Hazel. 2 weeks until the shoebox. Yeah
Hi Mary Helen - I do have more envelopes. Let me know how many you'd like.
Pam - Hopefully, giving your envelopes to Lynn will remind one of us! :???:
Less than two weeks to go! I think I have everything done, packed and ready to go......in the words of Jim Carrey, that must be some kind of record! (The quote comes from the 2nd Ace Ventura....I should be embarrassed to admit that, but I live with boys who must have a viewing of that movie every couple months or so!)
Hi gals, just to let you know that Lynn h will be bring cheese and pep, and Janine will be bring veggie tray. And Mary mc will bring a toca dip, see you soon
pasta and feta salad with light vinaigrette is fancy for some tri-colored spirals, black olives, red onions, feta cheese crumbles, and pepperoni chunks tossed with the on sale caesar dressing of the week. Hope that works!:p
Hi Girls....Elaine and I just made it into the swap from the waiting list, and are excited to join in. I was thinking of bringing Peanut Butter Fudge....not low cal, but will give you some quick energy, and is really yummy.
Question: Are we to supply envelopes for all of our swaps?

Oh, good question! Do we need to provide envelopes with our SWAPS or can we just place them in clear card sleeves?
Envelopes are not recommended but helpful. We ask that all items for the card be separated in some way. Envelopes or bags make it easier to pull what is needed to make the card. Hope this helps.
Andrea & Lisa,
I am so sorry that I won't be able to make the April 14th Shoebox Swap. My dad is in University Hospital and is having trouble coming off the vent. I was so hoping he would be in better shape so I could attend. I hope it is not too late for someone on the waiting list to fill my slot. I will really miss seeing you all. Maybe next time things will work out.
:(:(So sorry and so heartbroken to have missed the SWAP! I was early and driving around for 1 1/2 hrs. looking for the church! My GPS kept saying I had reached my destination, but there was nothing but trees and the back side of several housing developments?? The Bel-Air police directed me downtown to 130 Bond St. (another church), but after 100+ miles, 22.00 in tolls and a good 1/4 tank of gas, I gave up. Got home safely and hubby pulled it up on GOOGLE satellite...you were only a little more than 1/4 of a mile down from the geographical position of 1515...more like 1569.
Next time, I will be more cognizant of the many names for Emmorton Rd/924/Main St. I can laugh about it now!
If anyone wants my heat/dry embossed frosted filters technique SWAP; inbox me! It is super easy to assemble and I can drop it in the mail to you.
Thank you for organizing this I had a great time. Are there any Harford County Demonstrators interested in getting together for meetings on a regular basis?
If so contact me at [email protected] and I will send you an invitation to join our yahoo group for more information.
Wow, Ladies, that was an experience!! I learned a few things and I'll pace myself better for next time!! All cards were great quality, although some had some non SU items. How do you guys keep in touch for future events? Just by posting in this "Get Together" section of this forum?
Again, thanks to Lisa and Andrea.
Thanks for a fun swap! For those interested in the cute little bag that Andrea passed around that held my cards (the pink and white stripe with polka dots on chocolate fabric), here is the info on how you can get yours too! It is called a stay put pouch.
