Place : Lamplighter Mobile Home Park, 5040 Jackson St., North Highlands
In the Clubhouse
Fee : None
Food: Potluck - Salads and Desserts.
RSVP : By April 5th, please. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.
Theme: Spring

** at least one sample of a completed card
** If you prefer, you may do a paper project instead of a card.
** This swap is assembly style, which means that each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap.
** Envelopes are not required unless card is non-standard size.
The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required; however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.
Tool Kits : Please bring a basic tool kit which should include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for your card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.
The swap will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and should go until we are done.
aaaggghhh!!!!! I was starting to sort my stuff to bring and it occurred to me that I will be in Vegas that weekend. I wasn't connecting the two - probably in denial that they were the same day. Dang it!! Although Vegas will be fun, I really love this group and hate missing these swaps. Have fun for me....catch you all at the next one.

I finally finished 2 quilts that I've been working on...what a relief!! Getting fabric prepped to make some items for a craft fair that I'm going to do with one of my stepdaughters. Been doing some family research too.

Hi Karan, Happy to have you and Kathy join us...Wow, Santa Cruz...that's a little bit of a drive. Two cards are fine...I will let everyone know next weekend how many kits to make up.

Still time to sign up for swap... Hope you are staying dry...we've gotten caught in a few thunderstorms, going to and coming back from the National Cemetery in Dixon. It wasn't suppose to rain today...got dumped on a few times...lol
Well, it looks like there will be 8 ladies coming to this swap...so you will be making 7 kits plus your sample. Should you make a second project, you will have kits for that project, as well. The theme is Spring.
Lenny and Lisa M. need to know what you will bring, a salad or dessert. If one of you could bring a salad and the other a dessert, that will be great. Call me if you need directions to the mobile home park. (916) 802-2385. We will start at 10:00 am.

Regretably, I am going to have to cancel the Swap set for this coming Saturday, April 12th. I apologize for the inconvenience this will cause each of you signed up to come. It is a situation beyond my control.
Please acknowledge when you have read this message so that I know everyone signed up has gotten the message. I will also send out an email.
The June swap is to be hosted by Julie M. and Lisa M. I will be in touch towards the end of May to confirm that Julie and Lisa are available to host.
I will be mailing the address list and the hostess sign up list. If I don't have your address, please forward that to me.
Again, my apologies...I think this is the first time since the beginning of our group that a swap has been cancelled.
