I thought that I would just post all of the information here so we can keep contact just about the get together.
This is what I have so far...
I am looking at May/June for a get together. It will be either a Saturday (most likely) or Sunday.
We will rent a room and depending on the rate and how many people are interested I will determine the cost. Last time we got together it was $10 each. This included the room, rolls, and snacks.

I will take sign-ups until March 25th. This will allow enough time for me to get a room and final arrangements.
I voted. If it works out, I will come stamp with you, too! Just not sure I can help out much right now with how busy work is and stuff.... but to come and stamp for a day? Well, if the timing works, I am THERE!!!
three of those weekend could be college and high school graduations, plus memorial weekend. early May would be nice. Would this be a shoe box event?
Yes, I think that we should do a shoebox swap again.
THen have the rest of the day to do whatever.
Last year we did the shoebox swap then Craft's Direct/ lunch and then free time.
I think that it would work best if we just did the shoebox swap then you can do the rest on your own time. You can choose if you would like to go to CD, Joanne's or Michaels, lunch/ dinner etc.
This will be a WHOLE day event- from 9 to 9 or somewhere in there. So preplan what you would like to do...
Michelle - If you have the thread moved to the "get together" forum, you might get more responses. I think if you ask a Mod to help out they'd be happy to do so.
Denise just informed me that the 24th is Memorial Day weekend and I can't do that Saturday.
So I am going to go ahead and book the 17th.

Date: MAY 17th, 2008
Time: 8am to 10pm
Cost: $15 per person (This will allow enough for the room, snacks and door prizes)
We will start at 8:30 am with a shoebox swap. Depending on how many people attend and take part in this will determine the amount of time needed to complete the swaps. I will give you a final count on May 10th.
When that is completed you will have the rest of the day to as you please- lunch, Craft's Direct, Joann's etc.
There is only room enough for 15 people, so it's first come first serve. I will secure your spot once I receive payment. If I do not receive your payment by May 10th, I will take you off my list and open your spot up for someone else.
I will have snacks to eat through out the day- please bring your own drinks. Let me know if you are interested in bringing anything to share.

I'm still on the fence. Well, I am leaning towards attending, but I'm also thinking of doing a scrapbook day the weekend before, and not sure how my hubby will react to TWO Saturdays in a row of crafting. LOL.
I've also invited a few of my coworkers... some of them might be interested...
Michelle it is so close to graduation that most of my friends cant make it :(due to scheduling conflicts so I will be flying up there solo........are you gals eating at Chicago Pizza again and can I join you guys?????
